Beauty and the Beast in one. Since 2008, Cold Steel has been making the amazing Espada, which continues to find new fans among knife enthusiasts. The version with G-10 and mirror-polished aluminum bolsters should be in every collection.
Cold Steel Large Espada G-10 S35VN Folding Knife
A robust, full-sized knife from the Cold Steel Espada series, crafted with a design inspired by the iconic Spanish Navaja knives. Perfect for collectors, this model offers all the utility of a folding knife and serves as an excellent addition to any outdoor aficionado’s gear.
Clip-Point blade profile, stainless steel SPM S35VN
Featuring a blade with a length of 140 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, the design boasts a modified Clip-Point profile. Crafted from premium American stainless steel CPM S35VN, produced via powder metallurgy, the blade excels in high wear resistance and maintains sharpness over prolonged use.
double-sided disk, Tri-AD Lock
A thumb-operated, double-sided disc is positioned on the blade, enabling effortless one-handed opening for both right-handed and left-handed users. Thanks to a well-designed recess, the disc also functions similarly to the Emmerson wave feature—during deployment, it catches the pocket edge and causes the blade to open automatically as the knife is drawn.
In the open position, the blade is secured by the dependable Tri-Ad Lock, an enhanced iteration of the Back Lock mechanism. Unlike the standard version, it engages at a significantly greater depth and, when under pressure, presses against a stop pin that prevents further blade movement, granting superior stabilization. Recognized as the most robust and reliable locking system available in today’s mass-produced folding knives.
aluminum framework, G10 laminate scales
An ergonomically contoured handle features a durable aluminum frame with scales crafted from black glass-epoxy composite G10, fastened securely by screws. Reliable for daily use, a spring clip integrated into the handle enables the knife to be firmly attached to a belt or the edge of a pocket.
