Cold Steel Medieval Training Dagger
A double-edged training dagger for practicing medieval fencing. The knife is made entirely of Santoprene rubber, which ensures safety during combat and sparring. The dagger’s design is based on historical examples of medieval bladed weapons known in French as a quillon, dating from the mid-13th century to the end of the 14th century, typically carried by knights and later by civilians.
Double-edged Santoprene rubber blade
The double-edged, blunt blade, 254 mm long and 19 mm thick, is made of Santoprene rubber. A ridge runs down the center of the blade, preserving the blade geometry of the original historical artifacts.
Santoprene rubber handle, long cross guard, non-slip grip
The 166 mm long handle is made, like the blade, of Santoprene rubber. The imitation leather wrap and braided chain provide a non-slip grip. The long cross guard allows for training in parrying blows aimed at the weapon and protects the fencer’s hand. The round-section pommel was a common feature of daggers in the 13th and 14th centuries, distinguishing them from other types of short weapons such as the rondel, baselard, or kidney dagger.

Great product. I bought it as a toy for my son because he broke all the cheap toys. He wants to be a knight and a policeman. He hasn't broken this sword, and he doesn't spare it. Very well made from excellent material. I recommend it.
-
The largest plastic knife available on the market. Very realistically made. Quite stiff and solid. During full-contact training, protective equipment is mandatory (especially for the eyes). Indispensable as a teaching aid during training.
-
Good product workmanship.
-
Made without objections. Weak overall flexibility – it will hurt when thrust.
-
As a training knife, it perfectly meets my expectations.
