For me, it's a perfect folder - ergonomics, durability, cutting properties - I find no flaws. If I had to choose only one knife, I'd pick this one.

Cold Steel Spartan Folding Knife AUS10A
Engineered by Andrew Demko, who drew inspiration from the Greek Kopis sword, the Spartan Cold Steel is a folding rendition of the legendary Kopis. Featuring a sweeping, curved blade with a generous belly and an assertive point, this model embodies classic design in a modern, tactical folding knife.
Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel
Forged from Japanese AUS-10A steel, the blade offers exceptional toughness, outstanding resistance to corrosion, and superior wear resistance. Once tempered, the blade achieves a hardness rating of 58-61 HRC.
blade with Clip-Point profile, Stonewash finish
Featuring a blade measuring 108 mm in length and 4 mm in thickness, the design incorporates a Clip-Point profile that enables angled cutting, channeling increased kinetic energy into the material being processed. The surface is treated with the Stonewash method, resulting in a matte finish that diminishes glare and effectively conceals signs of regular use.
frameless construction, ergonomic handle made from Griv-Ex composite
Constructed without a frame, the handle utilizes two profiles precision-cut from Griv-Ex material. Deep finger grooves combined with the handle's aggressive texture provide a reliable and secure hold in any conditions and across multiple grip styles.
Tri-Ad Lock, double-sided disk
Featuring a disk accessible from both sides, the blade can be effortlessly opened using the thumb, making it suitable for both right and left-handed users. The disk also allows for rapid deployment by catching on the pocket edge, providing functionality similar to wave-enabled knives.
When deployed, the blade is locked in place with the Tri-Ad Lock system, an enhanced iteration of the traditional Back Lock, widely recognized as one of the toughest locking mechanisms available for folding knives. The design uses a stop pin to channel forces from the blade into the handle, effectively reducing wear on the locking mechanism. Automatic compensation for typical wear ensures the lock remains consistently secure throughout long-term use.
clip with reversible option
A spring clip integrated into the handle provides convenient everyday carry, enabling the knife to attach securely to a belt or pocket edge. Designed for versatility, the clip is reversible and can be positioned for both right-handed and left-handed operation.

A solid, good knife. Cuts very well, it's durable. The only downside is the thumb stud, which tends to loosen. Other than that, I have no complaints.
-
Armored blade, reliable lock, unimaginably sharp knife. Suitable for everything. Don't hesitate, just get it.

I've had it for over a year now. Great knife. Beautiful appearance. Good steel. Perfectly complements the Rajah II :)
-
Armored and practical. The opening system is quite tactical.
-
Unconventional in appearance, a very solid knife. Despite its weight and size, it also works well for me as an EDC folder. I recommend it!

After more than a month, my opinion hasn’t changed. The knife is very nice, a bit big, but the joy of opening and using it is even greater :D

Spartan, kopis (machaira - falcata) in a pocket version. Excellent design and construction by Andrew Demko. The kopis handle surpasses other "standard" ones: secure grip for both dry and wet hands, in heat and in cold, for cutting and thrusting. Powerful Tri-Ad Lock, thumb plate disc (allows you to pull the knife from your pocket already open!) make it definitely a tactical (combat) knife. In defense it compares well to the excellent CS Recon 1, and its 255g qualifies it as middleweight.

A massive and heavy (300 grams) knife. The handle should fit even large hands. Factory-sharpened well, but the Spyderco Tenacious is sharper. Thanks to the blade shape, it cuts well. Opening it with the edge of your pocket requires good-quality pants ;) The blade lock is very good; it can't be closed accidentally.

If you want to feel like Leonidas but can't carry a sword with you, this knife is for you.
