The sharpness holds up decently. Admittedly, after a while of use, it’s no longer a "razor blade," so it won’t cut paper or shave hair, but it still cuts wood very well all the time. So far, I’ve only tested it once during a May weekend. It sliced meat and potatoes, split wood, nothing broke, and it didn’t become overly dull. Only the coating on the blade comes off almost immediately (as you can see in the photos), so it seems to be more decorative than real protection, but aside from that, it works great. If any flaws, problems, or defects appear after longer use, I’ll update the review, although I’ve been using another knife from this manufacturer for about six years now and it’s still perfectly fine.
