Very nice, fits well in the hand. It is quite a large, wide knife and you have to remember that, but it fits in your pocket. The lock and build are rock solid, I have the impression that when unfolded it feels like a fixed-blade knife.

CPM S35VN is a stainless powder steel developed by Crucible Industries in collaboration with Chris Reeve, used in premium knives. It is an evolution of the popular S30V steel, offering a better balance between wear resistance, stainlessness, and ease of machining. Carbon (approx. 1.4%) is responsible for high hardness, while chromium (approx. 14%) gives the steel very good corrosion resistance, and vanadium (approx. 3%) extends edge life and improves cutting aggression. After hardening, it reaches 58-61 HRC, combining edge durability with fracture resistance. The steel retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen, commonly used in EDC, outdoor, tactical, and collector's knives.
Tri-Ad Lock
Tri-Ad Lock is a lock developed by Cold Steel and Andrew Demko, considered one of the strongest systems in folding knives. An uncompromising machete, a clip point on steroids. The blade is similar in size to the Voyager XL Vaquero/Clip point, but in the Talwar the tip is much thicker, which gives you greater confidence that you won't break it accidentally by hitting some harder material. Compared to the Voyager models—longer handle, resulting in a greater cutting reach if you grip the knife at the very end of the scales. The TriAdLock lock rubbed slightly where it contacts the blade (remnants from the factory machining of the main lock element). This does not have a significant impact on the ease of opening/closing the knife, but for perfectionists—it requires a light sanding with high-grit sandpaper.
