Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6" Aluminium S35VN Folding Knife

A folding knife with a slim, elongated design, inspired by classic Italian daggers from the 1950s (known as “Sicilian daggers”). The Spear-Point blade is made of high-quality S35VN stainless steel produced using powder metallurgy. The blade surface has a satin finish. The knife is opened using a one-sided thumb stud or a serrated flipper. A reliable Spring Leaf Lock protects the blade before closing. The black handle is made of aluminum with a non-slip texture.

S35VN Stainless Steel

The blade is made of CPM S35VN powder-coated steel, valued for its high corrosion resistance and edge retention. After proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of 58-61 HRC, allowing it to stay sharp for a long time and perform well during intensive, daily use.

Spear-Point blade, satin polishing

The blade, featuring a Spear-Point profile, is 152 mm long and 4 mm thick. It features a smooth cutting edge, finished with a semi-flat grind. The blade has been finished using a satin finish, which hides minor scratches. The blade geometry ensures optimal piercing performance while maintaining high strength.

aluminium handle, tip-up clip

The scales are made of 7075 aluminum with an EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating. The slim handle with a non-slip surface ensures control over the tool, even with wet or dirty hands. Numerous perforations in the handle give the knife a modern look and also reduce the weight of the construction.

The knife is equipped with a steel tip-up clip for convenient everyday carrying.

Spring Leaf Lock

When open, the blade is locked in place by the Spring Leaf Lock system, an improved version of the classic Liner Lock. Thanks to an additional spring-loaded locking bar, the knife will not accidentally close, even during severe shocks. The blade features a thumb stud, allowing for quick one-handed opening. Additionally, thanks to the serrated flipper, the blade can be opened simply by pulling the knife out of your pocket. Once open, the flippers form a small double-sided cross guard that protects your hand from sliding onto the blade.

CPM S35VN feature
CPM S35VN
CPM S35VN is a stainless powder steel developed by Crucible Industries in collaboration with Chris Reeve, used in premium knives. It is an evolution of the popular S30V steel, offering a better balance between wear resistance, stainlessness, and ease of machining. Carbon (approx. 1.4%) is responsible for high hardness, while chromium (approx. 14%) gives the steel very good corrosion resistance, and vanadium (approx. 3%) extends edge life and improves cutting aggression. After hardening, it reaches 58-61 HRC, combining edge durability with fracture resistance. The steel retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen, commonly used in EDC, outdoor, tactical, and collector's knives.
Spring Leaf Lock feature
Spring Leaf Lock
Spring Leaf Lock is a folding knife lock by Cold Steel, combining a classic Liner Lock with an additional spring bar. When the blade is opened, the spring secures the liner, preventing accidental folding even during strong shocks. To close the knife, first move the safety guard aside and then release the lock. This mechanism increases safety and reliability during use.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
EDP - Electric Discharge Plating feature
EDP - Electric Discharge Plating
EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) is the name of the coating technology used by Cold Steel to finish metal components, primarily milled aluminum knife handles, used in Ti-Lite models. The coating gives them a uniform color, increases resistance to moisture, temperature, and many chemicals, and improves surface durability. Thanks to its textured finish, EDP can also improve grip and provide a more secure hold, while providing an aesthetic, uniform finish.

I have been using it for several years, sometimes even as an EDC. Very nice knife. I specifically bought the larger version and I don't regret it. Good not only for collecting, but also for use. One of my favorite folders.

Beautiful large folder, which nevertheless fits discreetly in the pocket. Solidly made and one of the best steels. The lock is so strong it can hurt your thumb when closing. Came razor sharp. With practice, it opens 'by itself.' Overall 4+. I recommend it.

Huge like a small sword. There is no other like it. I recommend it to collectors.
