A push-dagger-style knife with a “T” grip, i.e., with the handle positioned perpendicular to the blade, designed for tactical and self-defense applications. The serrated blade with a dagger profile is made of Japanese AUS‑8A stainless steel and finished with a satin finish, giving it a semi-matte surface. The handle, made of black Kray‑Ex material, ensures a secure and stable grip. The set includes a Secure‑Ex sheath and a chain that allows the knife to be carried, for example, around the neck or on a belt.
Japanese AUS-8A steel
The blade is made of Japanese AUS-8A steel, which retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to resharpen. After heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of 58–60 HRC, making it a sturdy material with good cutting performance and durability.

Kray-Ex
Kray-Ex is a synthetic polymer with a rubber-like structure used by Cold Steel to manufacture knife handles. It is characterized by high adhesion and anti-slip properties, ensuring a secure grip even in high humidity, low temperatures, and with dirty hands. The material is flexible and absorbs shocks well, which increases comfort of use. Kray-Ex is also resistant to cracking, abrasion, chemicals, and adverse weather conditions, making handles made of this material durable and virtually maintenance-free. Cold Steel uses it in tactical, survival, and utility knives.
AUS-8A
AUS-8A is a Japanese stainless steel, equivalent to 440B steel, characterized by a good balance between corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and edge retention. The carbon content (0.7-0.75%) affects the hardness of the steel, while chromium (13-14.5%) provides very good corrosion and abrasion resistance. Vanadium additives (up to 0.26%) improve the homogeneity of the steel's crystal structure and increase the blade's resistance to abrasion. The steel also contains molybdenum (0.1-0.3%), manganese (0.5%), silicon (0.4-1%), and nickel (0.49%). After proper heat treatment, AUS-8 steel achieves a hardness of 58-60 HRC, making it a solid material with good cutting properties and durability. The steel is widely used in mid-range knives, mainly produced in Japan and Taiwan, such as the popular Ontario RAT 1.
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.

It meets the assumptions exactly, i.e.: push dagger construction, larger size than the Urban Pal, double-edged serrated blade, fits into the Leatherman medium sheath with additional compartments, and is designed to quickly and effortlessly cut cords, belts, cardboard, and rags. And it's simply pleasing to the eye :)

A very good single-edged dagger, the steel is flawless. It is quite sharp so far; I haven't needed to sharpen it. The handle sits securely and safely in hand. Unfortunately, due to my mistake, I thought it had the option to be attached to a belt, but it turned out that a different, longer, and a bit more expensive model has that option. But that's my fault. The set includes a chain for neck carry, and there's no worry here since the sheath is safe and there's no way the dagger could come out unintentionally. Before buying, I suggest...

The knife is very sharp but easy to blunt, but it fits very well in hand (I use gloves size S), so a bigger model would be better for larger hands.
