The knife is extremely durable, it has cut countless small trees, meat with bone, even frozen, used mercilessly for everything for 4 years. After losing it, I bought the same one again! The only drawback is the blade steel is a bit soft, not so much that it would get excessively dented if dropped, just that during heavy work it loses sharpness a bit faster compared to, for example, g10, but it's a pleasure to sharpen. If you're considering buying a knife and you're reading this comment, I vouch for this knife wholeheartedly.

Renowned collaborator Flavio Ikoma designed this model for CRKT, embodying the hallmarks of his signature style. In addition to its striking aesthetics, the knife serves as a reliable tool suitable for daily use.
Equipped with a flipper, the knife enables rapid blade deployment and provides added safety by preventing the hand from sliding forward onto the blade. The robust handle is constructed from stainless steel and features ergonomically shaped G10 scales for enhanced grip security.
The Drop Point blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Integration of the IKBS system ensures exceptionally smooth and swift blade opening, utilizing dual ball bearings on each side of the pivot for optimal performance.

CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool) is an American brand of knives and tools, founded in 1994 by Paul Gillespie and Rod Bremer, former employees of Kershaw Knives. It gained worldwide publicity with the K.I.S.S. model, presented at the SHOT Show in 1997 - it sold out immediately and tripled the company's production capacity. CRKT built a reputation as a brand focused on innovation, as proven by its proprietary Deadbolt, Field Strip, and Kinematic systems, as well as the patented Veff-Serrations. The company is also known for cooperation with respected knifemakers such as Kit Carson, Ken Onion, and Liong Mah, thanks to which the range includes knives with distinctive character and functionality. Among the most recognizable models are the M16, Minimalist, and Pilar, which have become icons in the world of EDC and tactical knives. From the beginning of its operations, CRKT has consistently promoted the motto "Confidence in Hand" - emphasizing that its knives are meant to give the user not only a tool, but above all confidence in action in any situation.

Advantages: - beautiful and unique - large size with relatively low weight - IKBS bearing system is fantastic Disadvantages: - the hole for opening with your finger (while preparing food it often gets dirty) - hotspot on the index finger when gripping tightly due to the blade lock - the scale at the clip quickly wore out from being fastened in the pocket
