The knife truly makes a positive impression, everything is made with attention to detail. There's no cheapness or randomness here. It really looks tasteful and refined. The slightly noticeable weight is actually a plus for me, you can feel that you have a solid product in your hand. There is only one downside, for which I deduct a star. The liner-lock is completely flush with the frame and handle scales, so after repeated closing your finger starts to hurt—there's a lack of ergonomics and it's probably not a well-thought-out solution.
A folding knife of compact dimensions, ideal for both standard outdoor activities and everyday carry (EDC).
Featuring a blade with a Spear-Point profile, crafted from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel known for its easy sharpening, reliable edge retention, and excellent corrosion resistance. Blade deployment is enabled via a dual-sided thumb disk mounted on the blade or a flipper, requiring only a light press to fully open. Smooth operation is assisted by the blade’s pivot bearings (IKBS system), which facilitate effortless opening. Upon deployment, the flipper also functions as a small guard, safeguarding the hand against accidental slippage onto the cutting edge.
The handle boasts an ergonomic shape, constructed with carbon fiber liners that feature a non-slip texture for enhanced grip security and comfort. In the open position, dependable use is assured by a sturdy Liner Lock mechanism.
.A springy, two-position clip provides daily carrying convenience, making it easy to attach the knife securely to a belt or pocket edge.

CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool) is an American brand of knives and tools, founded in 1994 by Paul Gillespie and Rod Bremer, former employees of Kershaw Knives. It gained worldwide publicity with the K.I.S.S. model, presented at the SHOT Show in 1997 - it sold out immediately and tripled the company's production capacity. CRKT built a reputation as a brand focused on innovation, as proven by its proprietary Deadbolt, Field Strip, and Kinematic systems, as well as the patented Veff-Serrations. The company is also known for cooperation with respected knifemakers such as Kit Carson, Ken Onion, and Liong Mah, thanks to which the range includes knives with distinctive character and functionality. Among the most recognizable models are the M16, Minimalist, and Pilar, which have become icons in the world of EDC and tactical knives. From the beginning of its operations, CRKT has consistently promoted the motto "Confidence in Hand" - emphasizing that its knives are meant to give the user not only a tool, but above all confidence in action in any situation.
