Lightweight and compact, this knife is crafted for daily carry. Created by renowned knifemaker Ken Onion, the design draws inspiration from the distinctive shape of traditional Hawaiian wa’a canoes.
The drop point blade is forged from 1.4116 steel, known for its ease of sharpening and robust resistance to corrosion. Enhanced with a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) finish, the blade also features jimping along the spine for secure thumb placement during use.
A flipper enables rapid blade deployment and serves as a protective cross guard to prevent hand slippage. The IKBS bearing system ensures smooth and efficient opening. Once deployed, the reliable Liner Lock mechanism keeps the blade securely in place.
Maintenance and cleaning are streamlined thanks to the Field Strip Gen II system, allowing the blade to be swiftly disassembled from the handle without tools.
The handle features a non-slip texture and is constructed from strong yet lightweight ADC12 aluminum. A flexible pocket clip offers versatile and convenient carry options, whether clipped to a pocket or stored in a bag.
