I've had this knife for 1.5 years now. It's a good, well-thought-out design; the deployment using the flipper is very smooth. The steel is good – it doesn't chip or bend and holds its sharpness well, but it's also quite comfortable to sharpen. I only fully disassembled the knife once to clean under the washers and do some light lubrication, which makes one-handed operation much easier. I can honestly recommend this knife for everyday use.
A knife crafted by Kit Carson, inspired by the renowned M16 series. The handle is constructed from 2Cr13 SS steel and finished with a titanium nitride coating, lending the handle a brown finish.
Equipped with a blade in a spear point profile, made of stainless 12C27 Sandvik steel, and treated with an oxide layer for a black, anti-corrosive, and non-reflective surface.
The knife features Teflon washers to ensure smooth, reliable deployment of the blade, and the pivot screw can be adjusted to modify the opening resistance.
A built-in flipper allows for one-handed deployment and also safeguards the user's hand from slipping onto the blade. When deployed, the blade is locked securely with a frame lock mechanism.
A spring clip attached to the handle provides convenient everyday carry, allowing the knife to be clipped onto a belt or pocket edge. Mounting holes on the handle enable the clip to be positioned on either side, in both tip-up and tip-down orientations.

Wonderful high-quality knife, very well made from good materials: the blade is stainless steel, the handle is well-crafted. Excellent knife for its price, in my opinion, there are no drawbacks.
-
Nice knife, keeps its sharpness, quite large for a pocket knife when unfolded, but it's thin and doesn't take up much space in the pocket. Small but a beast. A small minus for the blade lock, because to close the blade you have to unlock the spring and I have to focus to catch that lock with my nail.
-
A knife for everyday use, light, small, and maintains its working sharpness well. The openwork construction makes cleaning easy. The steel is not S30V class, but it is enough for a pocket folder. I recommend it.
-
Great knife. As always, excellent craftsmanship. The size and appearance are great. I recommend it.

The knife is very well fitted, sits securely in the hand, and feels solid. The flipper works smoothly and lightly—I had no problems opening the blade, even when it was new. As some have mentioned, the size is ideal; it's not big, but you can't call it a small knife either. The lock holds the blade securely and firmly, the clip is a bit stiff, but its placement means that when the knife is in your pocket, it's practically invisible. This is the only downside I found.

CRKT won me over with this M16 model already because of the Sandvik steel. But the size of this knife is also mediocre for a folder, which means it fits well in my hand, plus for its size, it is lightweight.

Amazing knife! The size is just right—usually M16s are too small and M21s too big. It's a revelation that we finally have Sandvik instead of 8cr and Aus8. I recommend it.
