The edge forging of the shovel is not continuous (more symbolic: 12 uneven separate hammer strikes along the edge). The bevel of the edge is 45 degrees. Steel hardness is about 50–52 HRC. The handle is high quality, impregnated. Given the strength of the shovel blade itself, it would be worth increasing the thickness of the handle shaft to add durability where it connects to the shovel. Excellent replacement for a classic sapper shovel for dense soils. Not afraid of nails or stones. Quite suitable for chopping small branches, roots, and splitting small firewood. I recommend the Oak Forge shovel cover for carrying and storage. Very high-quality manufacture. Convenient attachment for belt or backpack.

Super workmanship. Sharp. Just right for spring garden work :)

It may not be big (whether that's a drawback or an advantage depends), but it's a chunk of thick metal, comes sharp, and you can feel its power in your hand. The only minus is the expensive sheath, but an old leather shoe and a bit of effort can solve the issue.

Supposedly mass-produced, but made by several people in a workshop using good materials. Competing entrenching tools may envy its durability. Polish product.

Nicely made, small, compact, and arrived oiled. The only downside is that it was supposed to arrive incredibly sharp but is as blunt as a hammer. You can't cut anything with it.

I've never had a better entrenching tool. It chops sticks for a campfire without a problem. I recommend it.

I’ll be honest, I first saw it in a physical store and then ordered it. The quality of workmanship is simply amazing! The entrenching tool is well sharpened (better than many knives), so it’s worth buying a leather sheath.

If you only want to dig in the ground, you have a ready product; if you want to chop any branches, you need to sharpen it a bit, but after sharpening it's indestructible. Worth recommending.

Amazing equipment! Very durable and comfortable to use entrenching tool. It holds up very well when striking walls, old wooden doorframes, metal rods... doesn't matter O_o. It's true that it chipped a bit, got slight play, and some minor external cracks appeared on the handle, but many entrenching tools wouldn't be restorable after such a "test." Here, it's just about sharpening the edges and fixing the looseness. The shovel will surely serve me for a long time yet. Strongly recommend :D
