Defcon 5 Combat Uniform Landing Force Uniform Set - Vegatato

Uniform set in Vegetato camouflage consisting of a jacket and pants, designed for intensive use in field and operational conditions. The construction combines durable Rip-Stop fabric, a functional pocket layout, and solutions that allow the uniform to be adapted to current tasks.

The set has received the NSN/NUC designation confirming its classification in the supply and equipment system used for products intended for service and operational applications.

The set is made of Rip-Stop fabric, a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The weave used reduces the risk of any tears becoming larger and increases the material's resistance to intensive use, contact with equipment, and work in difficult terrain.

The combination of cotton and polyester fibers provides a compromise between wearing comfort and durability. Cotton improves softness and breathability, while polyester supports resistance to wear and the stability of the construction. Selected pockets are equipped with robust YKK zippers.

The jacket has a velcro-fastened collar that allows the circumference to be adjusted and additionally protects the neck. On the chest there are 2 large pockets with flaps secured with velcro. Their capacity allows basic equipment to be stored, which the user should have quick access to.

On the upper part of the chest pockets there are horizontal velcro panels intended for attaching markings, ID patches, or patches. An additional 2 pockets and panels are placed on the sleeves.

The sleeves are equipped with adjustable velcro-fastened cuffs. They allow their circumference to be adjusted to the wrist and reduce the rolling up of the fabric during work. The sleeve construction ensures full freedom of arm movement.

The pants are equipped with 8 pockets, which make it easier to organise basic equipment. Side, rear, and thigh pockets have been used, allowing carried items to be separated according to their purpose and frequency of use. In the knee area, reinforcements have been applied to increase the pants' resistance to abrasion.

The thigh pockets have a construction adapted for storing larger accessories. Velcro fastenings increase the security of transported items and allow quick access to the contents. Velcro panels also allow compatible equipment elements to be attached and the pockets to be additionally configured.

The pants waistband is adjustable, allowing the circumference to be fitted to the figure. It stabilises the pants while moving, squatting, and working in a kneeling position, and also makes them easier to use with a tactical belt or other waist equipment. The construction is compatible with D5-KP3171 knee pads.

Vegetato is an Italian military camouflage introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as the standard concealment pattern of the Italian Armed Forces. The pattern is based on irregular, multilayer patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and earthy red. Vegetato, also known as mimetico Vegetata or Italian Woodland, was created as a modern alternative to older woodland-type patterns. Thanks to its rich palette and well-thought-out arrangement of patches, this camouflage effectively breaks up the soldier's silhouette and works well in varied natural surroundings - especially in areas covered with low and medium vegetation. Due to its character and colour scheme, Vegetato adapts well to conditions found in many regions of Europe, covering both Mediterranean and temperate climates.
