Defcon 5 Reversible Jacket Jacket - Vegetato/Tan
The lightweight insulated double-sided tactical jacket was designed to provide effective protection against frost without restricting freedom of movement. It performs well during operational activities, outdoor pursuits, and everyday winter wear. The model offers two finish variants: one side features Vegetato camouflage, while the other comes in a solid Tan shade. Effective thermal insulation is provided by Thinsulate synthetic insulation with a grammage of 140 g/m2. Both the outer layer and the lining are made of 100% Taslan nylon. This fabric is characterised by resistance to mechanical damage and provides an effective windproof barrier. The hydrophobic finish limits moisture penetration and slows down soaking of the material during light rainfall. Inside, Thinsulate synthetic insulation with a grammage of 140 g/m2 has been used, offering a favourable insulation-to-weight ratio, effectively retaining heat close to the body and maintaining its properties in temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius.

The jacket is fastened with a zip fitted with a silent pull, which eliminates metal rattling and makes operation easier while wearing gloves. On the camouflage side, the zip is covered with a windproof strip fastened with snaps, which protects against cold air penetrating through the zip. The high insulated stand-up collar is equipped with an elastic drawcord with a cord lock, which protects the neck from draughts. The bottom of the jacket is adjusted with a drawcord with a cord lock, allowing precise adjustment of the circumference to the silhouette, while the sleeves are finished with elastic edging to prevent the material from riding up. Classic hip pockets are placed on both sides of the jacket.
