Defcon 5 Scorpion Light Softshell Jacket - Black

Lightweight softshell tactical jacket in black, designed as an outer layer for operational activities, outdoor use, and everyday wear in changing weather conditions. It is made from flexible technical softshell fabric combining polyester and spandex, which provides effective protection against wind and light rain. The jacket is equipped with an advanced system of eight functional pockets and velcro panels for unit markings. The design is completed with an adjustable hood with the option of full removal and underarm vents that help maintain thermal comfort during intense exertion.

The construction is made from durable softshell fabric composed of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. The addition of spandex provides the right amount of stretch, ensuring full freedom of movement in dynamic tactical situations. The outer layer with water-repellent properties effectively repels water particles, while the dense fabric structure effectively blocks gusts of wind. The material maintains optimal breathability, allowing excess moisture generated by the body during movement to be efficiently wicked away.

The Scorpion model is equipped with 8 practical pockets:

• 2 large chest pockets closed with zippers, equipped with internal reinforced ports for routing headset or radio cables,
• 2 internal pockets closed with zippers, intended for secure carrying of documents and a phone,
• 2 shoulder pockets on both sleeves closed with zippers, making essential accessories easier to access,
• 1 forearm pocket located on the left sleeve, intended for keys, an access card, or small equipment,
• 1 large rear pocket with double-sided access closed with two zippers, ideal for gloves, a cap, or a map.

The jacket features a detachable hood with adjustment by means of an elastic drawstring with cord lock, which can be rolled up or completely removed when needed. Under the arms there are zippered ventilation openings that allow instant adjustment of air circulation during increased physical activity. The forearms are additionally reinforced with a double layer of fabric, which protects against abrasion in difficult terrain. The main fastening is a durable zipper, and the zippers are fitted with silent pulls (silenced pulls) that eliminate noise during quiet movement. The cuff circumference is adjustable with velcro tabs, while the fit can be adjusted with an internal waist drawstring.

Velcro panels are placed on both shoulder pockets. The soft velcro allows quick and trouble-free attachment of unit patches, national flags, service name tapes, or Morale Patches emblems.
