Defcon 5 Tactical Bull Backpack 36 l - Vegetato
Tactical backpack in Vegetato camouflage, designed for carrying equipment during field and tactical operations. It is made of durable 600D polyeste, which increases the material's resistance to tearing. The model is equipped with 2 large main compartments and front pockets closed with two-way zippers, a space for a hydration system, MOLLE webbing, 4 compression straps, and a simple hip belt.
600D polyester with a Rip-Stop weave
The backpack is made entirely of 600D polyester. The material is characterized by high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, making it perform well during intensive field use.
2 main compartments and 3 external pockets
Basic equipment can be arranged in 2 large main compartments closed with two-way zippers. At the back there is a pocket intended for a hydration water tank, closed with Velcro, and the design allows the hydration system tube to be routed out. In addition, 2 openings are provided for routing radio antennas or communication system cables.
The model is equipped with:
- 2 front pockets closed with two-way zippers – with dedicated sections that make it easier to organize essential equipment,
- 1 pocket at the back – intended for a hydration system water tank and closed with Velcro.
Adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt
The carry system consists of adjustable shoulder straps that allow the backpack to be fitted to the user's build. The design is complemented by a simple hip belt, which helps stabilize the backpack and limit its movement during motion.
MOLLE system and 4 compression straps
The outer surface of the backpack is equipped with MOLLE system webbing, which allows compatible pockets, pouches, and additional equipment elements to be attached. The design is complemented by 4 compression straps fastened with Fastex buckles, which help reduce the backpack's volume and stabilize the carried equipment. On the upper front pocket there is a velcro panel intended for attaching patches and markings.
Vegetato camouflage
Vegetato is an Italian military camouflage introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as the standard camouflage of the Italian Armed Forces. The pattern is based on irregular, multilayered patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and earthy red. Vegetato, also known as mimetico Vegetata or Italian Woodland, was created as a modern alternative to older woodland-type patterns. Thanks to its rich palette and well-thought-out arrangement of patches, this camouflage effectively breaks up the soldier's silhouette and performs well in varied natural surroundings - especially in areas covered with low and medium vegetation. Due to its character and color scheme, Vegetato adapts well to conditions found in many regions of Europe, covering both Mediterranean and temperate climates.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Fastex buckles are a popular type of fastener consisting of two parts that snap together, and pressing both sides of the buckle on the sides causes it to come undone. They are often used to fasten belts, backpack pockets and other items where fast and secure fastening and unfastening are crucial.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
