Defcon 5 Urban Shell Jacket - Black

A hooded jacket in black combining a lightweight construction with solutions useful for outdoor activities, tactical use and everyday wear. The body is made of 20D nylon, while the sleeves and hood are made of 50D polyester. The shoulders are reinforced with 300D cordura, which increases the resistance of these areas to wear during intensive use.

The jacket uses materials of different thicknesses, matched to individual parts of the construction. Lightweight 20D nylon is used in the body, while the sleeves and hood are made of 50D polyester. The shoulders feature reinforcements made of 300D cordura - areas particularly exposed to abrasion and loads, for example when carrying a backpack.

The front and back of the torso are equipped with synthetic filling, which provides an additional insulating layer around the torso. Quilted stitching keeps the insulation in place and gives the panels an even structure.

The jacket is equipped with side pockets lined with soft and warm microfleece. The pockets closed with zippers allow small items to be stored safely.

On the sleeves there are additional zippered pockets intended for small accessories worth keeping close at hand. Next to them, velcro panels have been sewn on, allowing the attachment of compatible patches, identifiers or markings.

At the front of the jacket there is a full-length zipper, which makes it easier to put the garment on and take it off, as well as adjust the closure. The main zipper is protected by an internal windproof strip, which limits wind penetration. The high stand-up collar protects the neck from cold and wind. Its inner side is finished with fleece, which increases thermal comfort.

Zippers placed on the sides serve 2 functions: they allow increased airflow and provide access to equipment worn under the jacket. They can be unzipped to improve ventilation, or used as practical access openings without having to remove outerwear.

Adjustment at the waist allows the jacket circumference to be fitted and helps limit cold air from getting in from below. Elastic cuffs keep the sleeves at the wrists and help maintain a good fit.

The hood can be adjusted to weather conditions using the adjustment system, and when it is not needed - completely detached. This allows the jacket configuration to be changed depending on the weather and the preferred way of use.
