Equipped with 1.5% OC irritant (Oleoresin Capsicum), the container incorporates 13.3% MC (Major Capsaicinoids), ensuring a final mixture with 0.2% MC upon release. Such composition enables a humane yet effective defense against dogs.
The nozzle emits the irritant as a cone-shaped cloud, increasing accuracy against rapidly moving threats. The widespread irritant compound also infiltrates the attacker's breathing pathways, boosting the overall incapacitating effect.
In a dangerous situation, slide your finger beneath the safety cap, direct the nozzle at your assailant, and press the spray button with force. Discharge the spray toward the attacker's face from a distance of at least 1 meter and no more than 3 meters. Cease spraying by simply releasing the button. A single second of exposure to the active agent renders the attacker incapacitated for approximately 30 minutes, triggering severe allergy-like symptoms, profuse tearing, skin redness, and an intense burning sensation in the mucous membranes. The container is capable of emitting a spray cloud lasting about 5 seconds.
The model is equipped with a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 11, measured according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This value indicates the degree of ground insulation—the higher the coefficient, the more effectively heat loss is minimized.
Interpretation of R-Value in the outdoor sector:
- 1.0-2.0 – suitable for summer use (nighttime temperatures above approximately 10 deg. C),
- 2.1-3.5 – designed for spring, summer, and autumn use (approximately 0–10 deg. C),
- 3.6-5.0 – appropriate for cooler environments, around 0 deg. C and sub-zero conditions down to about -5 / -10 deg. C,
- 5.1-7.0 – intended for winter conditions with temperatures below 0 deg. C,
- above 7.0 – optimized for winter scenarios with high insulation requirements.
Actual thermal comfort is influenced by the overall sleep system (sleeping bag, apparel), the ground surface, and the individual's cold tolerance.
