Focus adjustment, two lighting modes
Accurate focusing and precise sample positioning are ensured by coaxial coarse and fine adjustment knobs along with a slide movement mechanism equipped with a graduated scale.
Operators have access to two illumination options: transmitted and reflected light, providing greater adaptability in various observation scenarios. A filter wheel mounted beneath the stage facilitates examination under multiple colored lights, which is especially advantageous when viewing specimens prepared with different staining methods.
Mains or battery powered
Designed with portability in mind, the lightweight and compact build ensures suitability for outdoor operations. Power can be supplied by either three AA rechargeable batteries or standard AA batteries, removing reliance on an external power source. When deployed with standard batteries, ensure the microscope is disconnected from mains power. For indoor use, connection via the included mains adapter is possible.
