Delta Optical Genetic Pro Mono Microscope
Biological microscope with a monocular head designed for learning, work in educational labs, and biological observations in bright field. It is well suited for schools, universities, laboratories, as well as home workspaces for people developing an interest in microscopy. A magnification range from 40x to 1000x, achromatic optics, and a precise operating mechanism allow observations of fresh and permanent biological specimens.
The upright configuration combines a stable stand with a mechanical stage for 2 specimens, LED illumination, and coaxial focus knobs. These solutions make it easier to move gradually from a general view of the sample to observation of its fine structures at higher magnifications.
achromatic objectives and magnification up to 1000x
The 4-position objective turret is equipped with achromatic objectives with magnifications of 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x OIL. Combined with the 10x eyepiece, they provide the following total magnifications:
- 40x - for locating the sample and observing larger structures
- 100x - for viewing selected areas of the specimen
- 400x - for working with smaller biological structures
- 1000x - using the 100x OIL immersion objective
The turret allows quick objective changes without removing the specimen from the stage. This makes it possible to observe step by step: start with the lowest magnification, set the area of interest, and then switch the objective to a higher one.
monocular head, WF 10x eyepiece
The microscope is equipped with a monocular head with a tube inclined at an angle of 30 deg. This eyepiece position reduces the need to lean heavily during observation and makes it easier to maintain a comfortable position at the workstation.
The WF 10x eyepiece offers a field of view with a diameter of 18 mm. The wide field of view makes it easier to find the area of interest in the specimen, especially at lower magnifications, and allows more efficient review of the sample structure before moving on to more detailed observation.
mechanical stage for 2 specimens
The stage measuring 142 x 132 mm allows placement of 2 specimens. The holder stabilizes the slides, and the travel mechanism allows precise movement of the specimen along the X and Y axes. The travel range is 75 x 40 mm, which makes it easier to systematically examine a larger area of the sample.
The mechanism is equipped with a vernier scale, which helps determine and remember the position of a selected place on the specimen. This is useful when returning to the area of interest, comparing sample elements, or documenting observation results.
micro and macro focus adjustment
On both sides of the body there are coaxial micro and macro focus knobs. The coarse adjustment allows quick initial focusing, especially when working with 4x and 10x objectives. The fine adjustment knob allows precise image refinement at higher magnifications.
The minimum increment of micro movement is 4 µm, which allows small corrections of the stage position relative to the objective. The two-sided arrangement of the knobs allows the microscope to be operated comfortably with the right or left hand.
bright-field observations
The microscope uses bright-field technique and transmitted illumination. LED light is directed from below through the specimen and then enters the optical system. This method is used for observing thin, properly prepared biological samples, including plant and animal specimens.
LED illumination provides stable light and a long service life. It does not heat specimens to the same extent as traditional incandescent sources, which makes longer observations easier. The microscope is powered by DC 5 V / 0,5 A.
Abbe condenser and illumination control
Below the stage there is an Abbe N.A. 1,25 condenser, whose task is to focus light on the observed specimen. It works with an iris diaphragm, which allows adjustment of the amount of light passing through the sample. This makes it possible to adjust image brightness and contrast to the type of specimen and the selected objective.
The condenser can be height-adjusted, which allows lighting conditions to be fine-tuned during observation. The optical design uses 160 mm correction, compliant with the standard used in biological microscopes of this type.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Delta Optical.
Delta Optical is a Polish company founded in 1989 by optics enthusiasts. Today, the brand is one of the leading manufacturers of binoculars, riflescopes, and telescopes in Europe, and its equipment is used by travelers, hunters, astronomers, and mountain rescuers from TOPR. Delta Optical works with respected partners such as Pulsar, Pentax, and William Optics, offering a wide range of products valued by both professionals and enthusiasts of nature or sky observation. The company continuously develops its solutions, introducing innovations that improve comfort and precision of use. Delta Optical telescopes have been used many times during public astronomy shows in Poland, and thanks to the brand's support, thousands of people were able to see Saturn's rings or the surface of the Moon for the first time.
