Constructed from a fabric blend comprising 68% modacrylic, 29% synthetic silk, and 3% elastane, the hat provides high resistance to elevated temperatures and open flames. The material neither melts nor ignites, retaining its protective qualities even under extreme heat. Thanks to the incorporation of elastane, the balaclava conforms closely to the user's facial contours, while flat seams help to minimize the likelihood of abrasion and irritation.

    A cap from the reputable company Direct Action. My feelings about it are mixed. It is quite expensive, and I do not notice that level of quality in the workmanship or the material, nevertheless it will certainly find its fans.

    Good, thin, all-year hat. It is not specifically for winter, but sufficient for effort and ideal for summer. High-quality material. High-quality workmanship. Just make sure to check the size, as it may be too tight for larger heads. Other than that, highly recommended!

    The hat works 100% under a helmet or bicycle helmet. As a standalone hat, it will protect against wind and generally is fine for cool days (definitely not for frost), but in my opinion, that's not what it was designed for. When my wife saw me wearing it for the first time, she said I looked like I was wearing a swimming cap.

    Great hat, warm, retains heat properly, but your head doesn't sweat under it. The material is stretchy enough to fit even a large head, fits perfectly with active shooting range headphones, you don’t feel it on your head at all, and it provides adequate wind protection.
