Direct Action Med Pouch Horizontal MK III First Aid Kit - MultiCam

An upgraded version of the individual MK II first aid kit in MultiCam camouflage, made from a durable blend of Cordura 500D and 210D nylon.

The main change that distinguishes this generation is the added prominent "MED" lettering laser-cut into a soft velcro panel that allows attachment of any patches or emblems, for example a national flag, unit insignia or so-called Morale Patches. Designed for horizontal mounting on the back of the Mosquito belt (or any other belt up to 45 mm wide) so as not to take up space on the side panels of a plate carrier. The first aid kit can also be mounted on any platform compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system.

The partially elastic construction of the outer pouch allows carrying more medical supplies while maintaining a low profile. The first aid kit consists of a pouch with side handles and an elastic sleeve into which the pouch is press-fitted. Inside the first aid kit there are elastic drawstrings that allow the contents to be organized, and the whole thing is closed with a zipper. On the back of the pouch there is an additional velcro panel that allows mounting a Shears Pouch. The design provides quick, double-sided access to the insert using anti-slip Hypalon pull tabs.

MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours that create gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. Thanks to this, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on shades of green in woodland areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in the environment of Central and Eastern Europe it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010 the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as a camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available to civilian users, which makes it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
