Eberlestock Mainframe II Regular Backpack Frame - Dry Earth

Eberlestock Mainframe II is the base frame of the EMOD system, made from a combination of lightweight aluminum and durable materials. It features an adjustable carrying system and an integrated transport shelf, which make it easy to carry heavy loads. The frame is compatible with Brooks 3500/7000 backpacks, Vapor 2500/5000, Batwings V2 modules, and other accessories, forming the foundation of a modular backpack set.

durable construction

Its design is based on a rigid aluminum frame with a characteristic 90 deg. geometry, which provides high resistance to deformation and stable load carrying even with heavy gear. The textile elements used in the design are made from abrasion-resistant synthetic materials, maintaining their properties even with intensive use and exposure to moisture or dirt.

The Mainframe II can be used as a standalone transport frame or in configuration with EMOD series modules, allowing for the creation of sets tailored to the nature of the expedition - from a light pack to a full-size expedition backpack.

Carrying system, hip belt

Contour Shoulder Harness System with micro-adjustment capability allows for precise torso length fit and optimal weight distribution. This significantly reduces shoulder strain, transferring most of the weight to the hips.

An important role is also played by the Cradle Hip Belt equipped with stabilizers and a lumbar panel with a silicone coating, which prevents the system from shifting during movement. This solution increases stability and minimizes the risk of chafing even when moving dynamically in the field.

Additionally, the air-mesh padding supports ventilation and heat dissipation, which translates to better thermoregulation during intense effort. Stabilizing straps allow for adjustment of the load's angle, bringing it closer to the center of gravity and improving the user's natural posture.

Attachment system for the Mainframe

Mainframe serves as the base of the modular EMOD system and allows for the attachment of backpacks and accessories from this series directly to the structure. Connections are made using YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, fastening the backpack to the sides of the frame.

The system uses three transverse compression straps with buckles that keep the backpack stable against the frame or allow for separation, creating additional transport space. This enables the carrying of gear or heavy loads close to the body's center of gravity.

molle/pals panel

The entire length of the back of the frame features a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel, which allows stable mounting of additional modules and pouches directly to the structure. This makes it easy to expand the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, maintaining flexibility in organizing gear and adapting the set to specific tasks.

Eberlestock

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Eberlestock.

Eberlestock is an American brand founded in 1985 by Glenn Eberle, an Olympian and pilot. It began with the development of a lightweight and strong rifle stock, which became the foundation for further innovations. The Just One Pack backpack, which allows you to carry a weapon on your back while keeping your hands free, proved to be a breakthrough. The company is famous for its modular systems, such as the Mainframe™ frame, tested for a load capacity of nearly 600 kg. The range also includes models created in collaboration with outdoor organizations, including Team Elk Pack from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Eberlestock is also developing its own line of Doppel:Ganger® camouflage, including Mountain, Skye, and Mirage variants, which use a double image technique to increase camouflage effectiveness. Today, the Boise, Idaho-based brand is recognized as a leader in the creation of equipment for hunters, tactical operators, and outdoor enthusiasts.

YKK zippers feature
YKK zippers

YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

Duraflex buckles feature
Duraflex buckles

Duraflex buckles are a type of high-quality buckles and fasteners made of durable materials such as polyamide or polypropylene. They are weatherproof, UV-resistant and resistant to mechanical damage. Duraflex are used for fastening and adjusting in backpacks, bags, clothing and military equipment, providing reliable and durable fastening solutions.

Laser Cut System feature
Laser Cut System

LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

EMOD feature
EMOD
EMOD (Expandable Modular Object Driven) is a modular backpack system from Eberlestock based on a frame to which various containers and accessories can be attached. It allows you to quickly configure your gear from a lightweight daypack to an extensive transport kit. The solution ensures high durability, flexibility, and full compatibility between modules.
