Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the core frame of the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum and resilient materials. Carrying system, hip belt
The load-bearing system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame, effectively channeling weight to the hip belt and back, thereby alleviating pressure on the user's shoulders. Adjustable straps offer customization of harness height to match torso length, optimizing ergonomic support.
A wide hip belt with soft padding secures the pack and absorbs much of the load, enhancing walking stability. Profiled straps lined with breathable mesh increase user comfort, particularly during extended periods of use.
Equipped with MOLLE system straps, the hip belt enables attachment of pouches and additional gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the foundation for the modular EMOD system, enabling direct integration of backpacks and accessories from this series onto the frame. Secure attachment is achieved via YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, ensuring the packs are fastened tightly to the frame’s sides.
Three cross compression straps with buckles are incorporated into the system, maintaining the backpack’s stability on the frame or allowing it to be positioned away from the frame to provide extra cargo space. This design supports the transport of equipment or heavy gear close to the body’s center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
Running the full length of the back of the frame, a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel provides secure mounting for extra modules and pouches directly onto the structure. The system offers effortless integration of EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, granting flexibility in gear arrangement and easy configuration for mission-specific requirements.
