Constructed from a combination of metal and plastic, the P55 air rifle by Ekol is powered by compressed carbon dioxide. The slide, frame, hammer, functional decocker, and smaller components are crafted from metal, while the handgrip panels are made from plastic.
Utilizing a 12 g CO2 capsule installed in the magazine, the air rifle is capable of firing 16 BB 4.5 mm pellets per magazine load. Thanks to its efficient gas system, each CO2 cartridge delivers approximately 50 shots at velocities of up to 125 m/s.
The trigger works within the SA/DA system (single action/double action), allowing shooting both with a cocked hammer or via self-cocking. A decocking lever for the hammer (decocker) is located on each side of the pistol for added convenience.
A polymer carry case with internal protective foam is included for safe transport of the air rifle. The case secures with two sliders, and features holes behind the sliders for padlock use, providing extra security against unauthorized opening.
