Constructed from a combination of metal and plastic, the Ekol air rifle P55 operates using compressed carbon dioxide. The slide, frame, hammer, functional decocker, and various small parts utilize metal, while the grip panels are crafted from plastic.
Powered by a 12 g CO2 capsule inserted in the magazine, the rifle's magazine also accommodates 16 4.5 mm BBs. An efficient gas system enables approximately 50 shots per CO2 cartridge, delivering an initial velocity of 125 m/s.
Featuring a trigger mechanism with a SA/DA system (single action/double action), shooting can be performed either by manually cocking the hammer or via "self-cocking". A decocking lever (decocker) is positioned on both sides of the pistol for convenience.
Supplied with a durable polymer transport case lined inside with protective foam. The case secures using two latches, and holes behind these latches enable the attachment of a padlock for added security.
