hardened Cro-Mo 4130 steel, ergonomic HE-type grip
Cold-drawn seamless tubes classified as CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1, crafted from Cro-Mo 4130 steel, serve as the material for the baton segments. Due to the presence of chromium and molybdenum, this steel demonstrates excellent resistance to high tensile, flexural, and stretching stresses. Furthermore, the baton segments are finished with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating, renowned for its superior resistance to abrasion. Each segment undergoes hardening to achieve a hardness level between 40-50 HRC.
The grip features a contoured, ergonomic HE (Ergonomic Grip) design in black, constructed from flexible, synthetic, and hypoallergenic rubber, delivering a secure and stable hold.
Easy Lock, button for unfolding
The locking system enables rapid deployment and secure locking of the baton segments with just a slight movement—no need for swinging. Releasing the lock is achieved by pressing the button positioned at the end of the handle. This practical and safe mechanism is ideal for situations where discreet use is required, such as while traveling on public transportation or in crowded environments.
The Easy Lock system permits the baton to be opened in two distinct ways: traditionally, with a swing, or simply by pulling on the tip. The latter method proves especially advantageous when a full range of motion isn’t feasible or when heightened discretion is necessary. Retracting the baton is equally straightforward—simply press the Easy Lock button at the handle’s base and collapse the segments by pressing the tip against any solid surface.
Rotating holster with belt mount
The baton is supplied with a rotating BH-55-A holster crafted from reinforced polypropylene, making it possible to carry the baton on a belt whether it is collapsed or extended. The holster's design allows for carrying the baton at any angle, letting users customize the position to their personal preference.
Furthermore, the manufacturer provides a universal UBC-05-A Quick Change System belt mount set, enabling rapid exchange of the baton holster for another rotating model. The UBC-05-A fits most belts with a width between 38-56 mm, and can even accommodate belts up to 68 mm wide when the adjustment is removed.

Easy Lock
The Easy Lock mechanism in ESP expandable batons allows for quick extension with a flick of the wrist, pulling the tip, or automatically when drawn from the BHT holster. Concealing is achieved with a push button lock, without the need to strike a hard surface. The mechanism remains functional after more than 6000 cycles, withstands drops from 2 meters onto concrete, and works even after being submerged in mud.
Triangular Ending
The Triangular Ending on ESP expandable batons has a triangular cross-section, which prevents the baton from rolling away on smooth surfaces such as floors or concrete. This allows the user to maintain control of the equipment in dynamic situations and to quickly regain hold of the baton after putting it down.

The baton unfolds and folds easily. Importantly, accidental pressing of the lock does not cause uncontrolled unfolding of the baton. At first, the play between the parts of the baton is a bit irritating, but that's the nature of this type and it doesn't affect its durability or usability. The case is fine. This baton is definitely different from anything I've seen so far. It can be easily unfolded and folded. The case can be carried comfortably and can also be attached to other cases. The baton does not unfold rigidly like others, but has a little play and every element can be rotated. I recommend both the product and the store!

This is my second baton of this type, I also have one from Coyote. The baton unfolds and folds easily. Importantly, an accidental pressing of the lock does not cause the baton to unfold uncontrollably. At the beginning, the play between the segments is a bit annoying, but that's how this type is, it doesn't affect durability or handling confidence. The holster is okay. I recommend both the product and the store.

The baton is definitely different from the ones so far. It unfolds and folds easily. Comfortable holster for carrying, plus the ability to attach other holsters. No jams, the baton does not unfold rigidly like others but has slight play and you can rotate each element.

I was looking for a handy one that you don't have to bang against walls or the ground to close. And so that it can be opened discreetly. And this one is exactly like that. The mechanism works properly, although there is a slight play in the connections of the individual segments, but that's how they are, because my friend's identical one is the same. It looks better than in the picture. I recommend both the product and the store.

I bought it because within a month my small dogs were attacked by huge dogs. This time I'm prepared and will defend them as best as I can. The telescopic baton is quite easy to use, it extends and retracts easily. I wanted something solid, that’s why I chose this one. I also wanted a triangular tip, so if the baton falls, it won't roll away. I carry it in my purse in a spot that allows me to pull it out with one move! The shop service was top notch; I ordered around midnight and received it the next day just after 2 p.m.! I was impressed and still am :-) Thank you!

I have this little gadget and I honestly recommend it. It's worth spending a bit more money to get professional equipment; it doesn't break like a regular baton. Luckily, it hasn't been used because there was no need.

Super baton, tested and works well, the only downside is that after prolonged use the handle stains the hand. For training, I recommend using a glove and the problem is solved.
