Expandable hardened baton featuring an innovative Easy Locking System and a Triangular Ending ring designed to prevent rolling on smooth surfaces. Equipped with a swivel holster, enabling you to adjust the mounting angle to suit your personal preference.
Hardened Cro-Mo 4130 steel, nickel-zinc coating, ergonomic grip
Cold-drawn seamless tubes made from CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1 grade Cro-Mo 4130 steel form the baton segments. The addition of chromium and molybdenum enables the steel to resist significant tensile, bending, and breaking forces. Further durability is achieved with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating, offering superior wear resistance. Each segment undergoes hardening to achieve a hardness range of 40–50 HRC.
The baton features a contoured, ergonomic H (Anti-slip) grip with a coarse, non-slip surface made from synthetic, anti-allergenic rubber, ensuring a stable and secure hold.
Easy-Lock
The Easy-Lock mechanism enables the baton to be deployed in two ways: either with a traditional swing or by pulling the tip of the bar. Utilizing the second method allows for discreet opening or use in situations where a full swing is not possible. The baton can also be collapsed single-handedly—just disengage the Easy Lock by pressing the button located at the base of the handle, then press the tip against any surface to retract the baton.
BH-55-A holster, UBC-05-A belt mount
Supplied with the baton is a BH-55-A swivel holster crafted from reinforced polypropylene, enabling the user to carry the baton on a belt in both the folded and extended positions. The holster design allows for carrying the baton at any angle, providing customizable adjustment to accommodate personal preferences.
Included by the manufacturer in the package is a universal belt mount UBC-05-A Quick Change System, offering the capability to swiftly switch the baton holster with another holder utilizing a rotating mechanism. The UBC-05-A mount is compatible with most belts ranging from 38-56 mm in width, and up to 68 mm when the adjustment system is removed.
