Constructed from lightweight yet robust 6061 aluminum, the folding tonfa is designed for both professional applications and self-defense. Compact when folded, it is highly portable and conveniently fits into spaces such as a bug out bag.
Modern variations of the tonfa baton, which originates from the Far East, are widely adopted by numerous uniformed forces due to their reputation as a straightforward and remarkably effective tool for direct coercion and self-defense.
The distinctive feature of tonfa batons compared to traditional batons is the presence of an extra cross handle, enabling extremely forceful thrusts and a range of techniques not achievable with a standard baton.
Both the traditional and cross handles feature deep anti-slip knurling along with a small end cap that serves to further secure the user’s grip and prevent the hand from slipping off.
