I can't even describe how satisfied I am with this purchase. No anti-fog ever helped me, but now I don't even need to use any sprays or gels (as long as the fan is always on in mode 1, the lower setting). Mode 1 is relatively quiet—you can only hear it without expensive active headphones if you are a few meters away, and only if there is complete silence around. However, mode 2 is quite loud and is better suited for turning on for about 40 seconds to a minute after a long-distance run. Cons: - The elastic strap could have been made a little longer. - It really takes strength to close the battery cover in the "Lock" position. But you rarely need to replace the battery/accumulator. My rating is 11/10, because I didn't expect to find a solution for myself that both protects and doesn't fog up. I recommend it!
ESS Profile TurboFan Tactical Goggles - Black
Low-profile ballistic goggles equipped with an active Turbst. Fan ventilation system, designed for intensive tactical, shooting, and operational use. They were developed in collaboration with members of elite United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) forces. The construction maintains compatibility with helmets and night vision systems, and the wide field of view facilitates observing the surroundings without limiting situational awareness. The modular construction of ESS Modular Technology enables quick replacement of key components such as the visor, frame, or strap.
polycarbonate visors
The visor is made of durable polycarbonate with a thickness of 2.8 mm and provides first-class optics, a distortion-free image, and 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays. ClearZone FlowCoat technology combines a coating that protects the outer side of the visor from scratches with an anti-fog coating on the inner side.
Wide field of view and low-profile construction ensure compatibility with night vision and head protection systems. The goggles can be easily adapted to personal needs with the modular ESS technology, allowing quick replacement of the visor, frame, or strap. The model is compatible with ESS U-RX and P-2B corrective inserts, allowing adaptation for users requiring vision correction.
Turbst. Fan ventilation, PowerPod module
The implemented Turbst. Fan system is responsible for active air circulation inside the goggles, reducing visor fogging during exertion, temperature changes, and work in humid environments. After one hour of operation, the system automatically switches from High-Speed to Low-Speed mode and then turns off after 4 hours. This solution helps save energy and reduces the risk of accidental battery discharge. The fan is powered by one AA battery and can run up to 150 hours. The PowerPod power module is housed in a durable casing, which increases the reliability of the goggles during use in demanding field conditions.
flexible construction, Outrigger Strap mounting system
The goggles are equipped with flexible frames that adapt to the shape of the face and ensure a comfortable fit. The ventilated system with a dust filter limits the ingress of dust, dirt, and water droplets inside. The additional antibacterial OpFoam lining enhances comfort even during prolonged use.
The Outrigger Strap mounting system allows for stable fitting of the goggles to various helmet models, and the adjustable elastic strap enables precise adjustment to the head's circumference.

The use of ClearZone FlowCoat technology protects the outside of the visor from scratching and the inside from fogging.
EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
An American military standard used to test ballistic goggles and visors, testing their resistance to being shot by a .22-caliber bullet fired at about 170 m/s.
