Fjallraven Kajka Backpack 85 l - Coal Black

A backpack with a capacity of 85 liters in Coal Black color, made of durable and waterproof material Vinylon F. It is well-suited for tourism-survival expeditions and everyday use. A distinctive feature of its construction is the use of a wooden frame made from FSC-certified birch (Forest Stewardship Council) obtained in an environmentally sustainable manner. This solution provides very good rigidity while maintaining low weight. The model is equipped with the Perfect Fit Adjustment System technology, allowing precise adjustment of the backpack to the user.

The backpack is made from fabric Vinylon F, which is a very durable synthetic material with high resistance to mechanical damage, abrasions, and wear. A characteristic feature of the material is its ability to increase weave density under moisture, improving its resistance to rain without the need for additional protective coatings. Thanks to this, the backpack effectively protects its contents from light rain and retains its properties over long periods of use.

The main loading space is closed with a drawstring with a top flap and a front zipper, which makes access to the contents easier. Under the main compartment, there is a large pocket that opens from the front with a zipper. There are drawstring pockets at the bottom sides, capable of holding a water bottle or other small items, while the upper sides feature two larger zippered pockets. The top flap of the backpack is equipped with two pockets that allow good organization of handy accessories. An additional advantage is the option to detach the flap and use it as a separate bag.

The hip belt is equipped with two zippered pockets with a strap, allowing convenient opening even when the user is wearing gloves. An elastic shock cord on the top flap allows attaching a jacket or sweatshirt.

The Perfect Fit Adjustment System technology allows precise regulation of the back length within a range of 42 - 61 cm and the width of the shoulder strap spacing in three positions, enabling the backpack to fit the user's height and body build. Stable and comfortable carrying is ensured by wide shoulder straps, chest strap, and hip belt. The soft padding on the back panel and shoulder straps improves user comfort, and the breathable 3D mesh provides adequate ventilation. The hip belt, covered with breathable 3D mesh, evenly distributes the weight, increasing comfort during longer trips. The Kajka 85 model features a frame made from birch wood, which significantly increases the rigidity of the entire structure and facilitates carrying heavy loads. At the top of the backpack, there is a transport handle that makes its lifting easier.

With side compression straps, the size of the backpack can be adjusted to the amount of gear carried. These straps also allow attaching additional equipment, such as a sleeping pad, camping tarp, or sleeping bag. The backpack also has durable attachment points for ice axes or trekking poles, enabling safe transport of equipment on the outside of the backpack.
