The scope’s main body is crafted from lightweight, robust aluminum that features a tough anodized coating. An IP67 rating guarantees full protection against dust and permits submersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. Engineered for durability, the design withstands shocks up to 1000 g/0.4 ms and supports reliable function within a temperature range from -30 to 55 deg. C. Oversized control buttons facilitate easy operation even while wearing gloves. The Alpex A40E variant incorporates diopter adjustment within a range of +/- 5 diopters.

Constructed with an outer shell of 210T Rip-Stop polyester, the sleeping bag offers reliable resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, significantly lowering the chance of fabric tears. The inner lining consists of 190T polyamide. At the base, the footbox-shaped bottom conforms to the natural alignment of the feet, decreasing dead space and enhancing heat retention in the foot area. Inside, a small pocket secures essential items, while loops allow for the attachment of an extra thermal liner.

The sleeping bag features an interior filled with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, renowned for its lightweight and soft qualities. A specialized microfiber structure offers high loft and superior thermal insulation. These fibers maintain their performance even after repeated washing.

A two-way zipper positioned on the right side enables complete opening from both the top and bottom, providing convenient access for entry and exit. The addition of a fluorescent puller ensures effortless unzipping, even under low light conditions. The Anti-Bite system prevents fabric from snagging during operation of the zipper. Internally, a thermal baffle shields the zipper, enhancing insulation. Compatibility with other sleeping bags from this series allows for joining two units together.

Enhanced thermal retention is achieved with the integrated 3D-structured hood, which contours around the head to minimize heat loss in cold environments. The form of the hood also delivers superior protection against both wind and moisture. Featuring the Duo drawcord, which utilizes a combination of elastic and webbing materials, the elastic section positioned around the neck gives users the freedom to extend their hands without manual readjustment. For swift adjustments at a preferred location, the webbing at the back allows for easy loosening, a feature that proves highly advantageous during nighttime operations.
