Thick and comfortable self-inflating mat designed for camping and motorcycle adventures, delivers exceptional sleeping comfort in outdoor conditions. Constructed from robust polyester material and featuring a core of self-inflating foam, this mat offers a balance of comfort and long-lasting durability. The NG version stands out thanks to its reduced weight and compact size, achieved by utilizing unique circular perforations.

The Hiking NG model has a thermal insulation rating of R-Value 4.5, determined in accordance with the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter indicates the degree of insulation from the ground—the higher the value, the more effectively heat loss is reduced.

Interpretation of R-Values used in the outdoor industry:

• 1.0–2.0 – suitable for summer conditions (nighttime temperatures above approx. 10 deg. C),
• 2.1–3.5 – suitable for spring, summer, and fall (approx. 0–10 deg. C),
• 3.6–5.0 – cool conditions, around 0 deg. C and sub-zero temperatures down to approx. –5 /–10 deg. C,
• 5.1–7.0 – winter use, temperatures below 0 deg. C,
• above 7.0 – winter conditions with higher insulation requirements.

Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), the type of ground, and the user’s individual tolerance to cold.

The mat is 5 cm thick, which ensures a high level of comfort and effective insulation from uneven and cold surfaces. The outer polyester fabric offers good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. Inside is self-inflating foam, which automatically draws in air when the valve is opened, giving the mat the right amount of bounce. The new design with circular perforations reduces weight and packed volume without compromising insulation properties.

To inflate the mat, simply unscrew the valve - the foam automatically expands and fills with air. If necessary, just blow into the mat 1–2 times and screw the valve back on to achieve the desired firmness. When rolling it up, the air escapes on its own, which makes it easier to compress and helps reduce the volume of your luggage.

When packed, the mat measures 63 x 15 cm. The set also includes a repair kit for minor repairs.
