A larger version of its little brother, which you have to sharpen because it comes dull as hell. For chopping smaller, though not small, branches, it's good because it's long, so the laws of physics work here. For large logs, you need to buy a splitting axe. Overall it's fine because the workmanship is really top-notch.
Bushcraft Splitting Axe constructed with robust, ergonomic design. The contoured handle, optimal balance, and a grooved blade crafted from premium stainless steel with an anti-corrosive coating enable deeper cuts while minimizing user effort.
The opposite side of the blade features a flat surface, functioning as a hammer. Enhanced grip is provided by an overmolded rubber section on the lower part of the fiberglass handle in the overmold style, ensuring secure handling even when wearing gloves. A waterproof compartment is integrated inside the shaft, suitable for storing small essentials like cord, lighter, or flint.
The package includes a sheath equipped with a mount for attaching the axe to a belt or gear.

This axe may work as an emergency option. However, as a typical tool for splitting wood (pieces larger than 20cm in diameter), in my opinion, it is completely unsuitable. Definitely not for this price. Yesterday my friend and I made a bonfire. Pine wood, already dried. It had a big problem. It got terribly wedged. Even when hitting natural cracks, it wouldn’t go all the way through, sometimes even after several hits. This "compartment" in the handle is also poor. After the third log, it became loose and started to fall out. To sum up. For emergencies, let's say it's ok, but not for this money. As a tool that should be comfortable to work with, I strongly advise against it.

The axe is primarily lightweight, so there is no difficulty in carrying it. It easily splits wood into smaller pieces. For my work, it suits me perfectly. The compartment in the handle means that I no longer have to look for a lighter because I know where it is. I recommend it.
