The polymer buckle in real life did not convince me of its durability, so I chose a model with a metal buckle. Putting on the belt takes a moment because you have to completely remove the buckle and first thread the belt through the loops, but then fastening the belt takes much less time than with models where you pull the belt through the buckle in the middle.
