Aside from being a trash bag, it’s especially useful for safely carrying electronics like powerbanks, batteries, camera gear. Since it’s waterproof, it can also serve as a cover for wet laundry or wet camping equipment—to keep them separate from dry things in your backpack. Definitely an essential part of every backpack. Plus, when folded it takes up very little space and is lightweight. I recommend it.
