Helikon-Tex General Purpose Cargo Pouch - RAL 7013

Cargo pocket made from highly abrasion- and tear-resistant 500D Cordura in RAL 7013 colour. The pouch is secured with a YKK zipper. Inside, there is a velcro panel compatible with the Versatile Insert System, allowing for the attachment of organisers, as well as elastic straps for better stabilisation of carried accessories. The front features MOLLE webbing that enables the attachment of additional items.

Access to the pocket interior is provided by a two-way zipper. The ends of the sliders feature pull tabs for easier opening and closing, especially useful when wearing gloves. Inside, there is a velcro panel compatible with the Versatile Insert System, allowing for the attachment of organisers and elastic straps for better stabilisation of carried accessories. The pocket is also equipped with a cord loop for securing smaller items.

MOLLE/PALS attachment system, belt carry option

The mounting system utilises straps compatible with MOLLE/PALS, allowing the pocket to be attached to a vest, backpack or belt. Additional MOLLE webbing on the front enables the attachment of extra components.

    A nice pocket with compact dimensions that can be mounted either on the side of a backpack or on a hip belt if you need immediate access to it. For its size, it holds quite a lot of items, and it is made of Cordura. A good idea with the hook-and-loop panel inside; you can buy additional attachments. The RAL 7013 color matches nicely with a Wisport backpack in the same color.

    I have had this pouch for a long time. Nice mounting system. It fits just right on the sides of the Helikon Raccon MK2 backpack. You also can't complain about the capacity. Not too small, not too big. If there were such a need, I would buy it again.

    The pouch is well and carefully made. The zippers run smoothly. At the bottom there is a small hole finished with a metal eyelet; I assume it is there so that any water can drain out. That is a small downside, because dirt or water can also get inside through it. The MOLLE system is solidly made. The pouch is very spacious, with two elastic straps inside. The entire inner back panel is covered with soft hook-and-loop, which makes it possible to attach organizers. I have one in camouflage and I am satisfied with it.

    The pocket is well made and looks quite good. A plus for Helikon's traditional short MOLLE straps. A major downside is the loud plastic back stiffener. If someone doesn't mind it creaking from time to time, overall it's generally ok.
