Practical pockets

Designed with nine pockets, the pants offer exceptional storage options:

  • two standard hip pockets,
  • a slim pocket integrated into the front right pocket,
  • two smaller, easily accessible open pockets at the front,
  • and four pockets at the back.

The minimalist design of the added pockets ensures the pants maintain a civilian appearance, while a strategic pocket configuration maximizes carrying capacity.

Wide belt loops and elastic waistband

Designed with a wide Velcro closure in place of a standard button, these pants allow for effortless waist adjustment. The fly features a dependable YKK zipper for secure fastening. Durable, wide belt loops fit belts up to 50 mm in width. For enhanced fit, an elastic band is integrated into the back of the waistband, ensuring the pants contour to the wearer's body.

    This is already my second pair of trousers of this model. They are truly fantastic. They look like elegant "civilian" clothes, yet the number of pockets makes them perfect both for going out to a restaurant and for an expedition. The material withstands washing very well, and the colors do not lose their intensity (at least coyote and taiga green, which I have).

    Very good value for money. I’ve been wearing my third or even fourth pair of these trousers in different colors for several years now. They are durable: the material is quite thick, and the stitching is strong. An unusual feature is the thigh pockets, which fit an average smartphone. They are cleverly placed, as a phone in that pocket doesn’t press into the body when sitting down, is easily accessible, and visible because the pocket is at the front. The Velcro fastening is solid, allowing adjustment of +/- 2 cm, and there’s also a light elastic band at the back of the waist. So the trousers have a wide range of adjustment without losing their shape. For my height of 180 cm and a waist circumference of 96 cm, L Long fits well. Several years ago, when my waist was 90 cm, M Long fit. They have sturdy belt loops and a fly with a metal zipper.

    Review after a year of use. Nice cut, breathable, the colors do not fade, and the trousers look like new. There is one big downside: the trousers pick up lint, dirt, and dust like a sponge. Whatever you touch with them stays on the trousers. It is a pity because I like them, but the grime they collect rules them out for everyday use. They attract dirt like a magnet.

    Stylish and comfortable, well made, and at the same time they do not restrict freedom of movement. The pockets are laid out practically, the material is durable, and the workmanship is of very high quality. The hook-and-loop fastener at the waist works great because it has slight elasticity, which improves fit and comfort. The only downside is that, with my short legs, the trousers turned out to be too long, but that is due to my build, not the product itself — especially since my wife can shorten them.

The combination of classic style with tactical design, along with a large number of functional pockets, puts them in first place in my husband's wardrobe.     Ash Grey is a very attractive color that works well for the office, evening outings, and everyday wear around town. I previously had this model in black, and the fabric faded a bit at the knees, so I hope this shade will prove to be more resistant. Even so, Helikon, as usual, maintains a high level of quality and durability — it seems that only this particular model had a minor fading issue. I also believe it is worth following the care label instructions carefully when washing, because when it comes to washing my Helikon, I do not trust anyone. I chose size M at a weight of 83 kg and a height of 171 cm — they fit perfectly and sit well. I only had to shorten the legs slightly; otherwise, everything is great.

    These trousers are truly exceptional, and the customer service deserves special recognition. First, the cut and wearing comfort are excellent – I usually choose XL/38" waist and these fit perfectly, leaving a bit of room at the waist. The fabric is strong, yet pleasant to the touch and does not cause any discomfort. The only downside is the fairly low-cut back, which means I can't pull them up as high as I would like, but considering their quality and versatility, this is a minor flaw. Throughout the day, I often get in and out of the car, move between various locations and put these trousers to the test every day, yet they show no signs of wear, abrasion or poor quality.
