Helikon-Tex MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Uniform Set - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

A uniform set featuring a shirt and pants in the MBDU style, utilizing the wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern. Crafted from NyCo material, a durable blend of nylon and cotton, the fabric is further strengthened with a Rip-Stop weave to enhance resistance to tearing. Designed to match the parameters of the standard Polish Army uniform.

Constructed from a premium material with a weight of 225 g/m2, the set features a blend of cotton (50%) and nylon (50%), enhanced by a Rip-Stop weave. This unique structure bolsters the fabric's resistance to abrasions and tears, while thicker threads form a grid pattern that further strengthens the fabric and helps stop damage from spreading. Such design makes the pants highly suited for challenging environments, providing outstanding durability and wearer comfort. An additional layer of VersaStretch material has been integrated into the seat area and crotch, delivering superior freedom of movement.

The shirt features four pockets:

• two zippered chest pockets
• two sleeve pockets positioned at shoulder level

The pants come with eight spacious pockets:

• two hip inset pockets with reinforced openings
• two back pockets, each with reinforced edges
• two large, spacious cargo pockets secured by buttons
• two smaller pockets located at calf level, featuring Velcro closures

Velcro strips have been stitched onto the pockets of the shirt to enable the attachment of various emblems, such as national flags, unit badges, or morale patches, allowing for a customizable look. To enhance ventilation, mesh panels are integrated beneath the arms to boost breathability.

Pants feature a wide Velcro closure instead of buttons, offering adjustable fit at the waist for different body types. The fly is secured with a zipper produced by the renowned Japanese brand, YKK. Wide belt loops support belts up to 50 mm in width, ensuring stability even under substantial load. Both front loops come with additional loops for attaching small accessories. At the hem of the legs, elastic drawstrings with stoppers allow for customizable adjustment.

The wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage is currently employed by the Polish Armed Forces. Recognized as the first camouflage pattern developed and widely adopted in the Third Polish Republic, the 1993 pattern features irregular, variable-sized spots that provide both concealment and distortion effects. With a color palette dominated by green, brown, and black, the scheme has been specifically tailored to suit the woodland environments typical of Poland, ensuring "Pantera" remains highly effective for use in local terrain. Military Uniform Classes students also wear uniforms in this camouflage, as it forms part of their standard issue gear.
