Helikon-Tex MCDU Uniform Trousers IRR - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Durable MCDU (Modern Combat Duty Uniform) combat trousers in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for intensive tactical operations, patrol duties, and missions in demanding terrain. They are made from durable NyCo Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 235 g/m2 and NIR/IRR technology that reduces visibility in night vision, flexible VersaStretch panels, and 500D Cordura knee reinforcements. The model is equipped with 12 ergonomic pockets adapted for carrying AR magazines, a thigh ventilation zipper system, and reliable YKK zippers from the Japanese brand.
Durable Rip-Stop-reinforced material, VersaStretch fabric
The construction is based on NyCo Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 235 g/m2 and a composition of 50% cotton and 50% nylon, providing good tear resistance while maintaining full breathability. In critical areas, at the waist, crotch, and behind the knees, flexible inserts made of VersaStretch fabric stretching in 4 directions (4-way stretch) were used, which guarantees full mobility during dynamic position changes and kneeling. The knee area is protected with 500D Cordura reinforcements that protect against abrasion on rough ground, while NIR/IRR technology (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) makes the fabrics and components absorb and reflect radiation in a way similar to a forest environment, effectively reducing the contrast of the silhouette in night vision devices.
12 spacious pockets
The trousers feature an advanced system of 12 functional pockets optimised for combat operations:
- 2 classic hip pockets - front compartments with reinforced edges that protect the material against abrasion from knife or multitool clips,
- 2 rear pockets - open hip compartments for smaller accessories and essential gear,
- 4 magazine pockets - two at the front and two at the rear, adapted for stable carrying of AR-standard magazines or a smartphone without restricting freedom of movement,
- 2 spacious front cargo pockets - located on the thighs, roomy transport compartments securing larger equipment while on the move,
- 2 rear cargo pockets - additional thigh pockets positioned at the rear for optimal load distribution,
- 2 lower zippered pockets - flat, discreet compartments located in the lower part of the legs for small spare items.
Trouser fastening and loops, YKK zippers
The trouser waistband is fastened with a wide velcro (velcro) that allows precise circumference adjustment and fitting to the user's waist. The design is fitted with wide, strong loops compatible with combat and shooting belts up to 45 mm wide, which keep loaded accouterment stable even during intensive running. All pocket and vent fastenings are fitted with durable zippers from the Japanese manufacturer YKK.
ventilation, leg adjustment
In the thigh area, between the cargo pockets, vertical ventilation zippers lined with mesh have been placed, opening an efficient air circulation channel during strenuous marching in higher temperatures. The Cordura knee reinforcements also serve as pockets for low-profile protective neoprene inserts. The bottoms of the legs are fitted with elastic cords with stoppers, allowing the material to be tightened precisely around the upper part of the footwear, protecting against sand and insects getting inside.

wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage
The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimicry and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches in different sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown, and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in domestic terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also basic equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.

Materials with 4-Way Stretch technology feature the ability to stretch in four directions. They are flexible and conform to the body's movements for greater freedom and comfort.
VersaStretch is Helikon's proprietary fabric, characterized by high elasticity and lightness. The composition used is responsible for quick drying of the fabric and proper breathability.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.
YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
