Nice. Provides a little warmth, protects against wind. Don’t expect extraordinary breathability parameters – it’s “just” Helikon. Good for the forest, for camping. For 178 cm and 83 kg, size M over a t-shirt fits perfectly.
An anorak-style jacket crafted from stretchable softshell fabric StormStretch. The material offers wind protection while maintaining excellent breathability, making it ideal for activities such as hiking. A Teflon coating shields the fabric from wind, and, with routine reapplication of the DWR finish, provides resistance to light rain and snow.
The Mistral is designed to be pulled over the head, featuring a partial zipper for effortless donning and adjustable ventilation. Enhanced airflow is further aided by underarm vents. Velcro panels on the shoulders enable the attachment of patches or emblems, including national flags, unit badges, or Morale Patches.
A key benefit of this design is the assortment of pockets for carrying essential equipment. The front includes a spacious pocket with convenient top entry, equipped with a straightforward, functional organizer inside. Additional storage comes from two hip pockets and two shoulder pockets.
Additional features include an adjustable hood and elbow reinforcements for greater durability in high-wear areas.
Main features:
- wind-resistant,
- 2-way stretchable,
- Teflon coating,
- Velcro panels allowing for personalization of the jacket's appearance,
- "kangaroo" pocket on the front with an internal organizer,
- pockets on the shoulders,
- underarm vents,
- YKK zippers.

Pretty decent jacket. It’s a softshell with no insulation, so it’s very versatile. On warmer days you can wear it over just a t-shirt, on colder days over a sweatshirt, and in winter on a down jacket as an extra windproof layer or as protection against ripping, for example in dense vegetation. Importantly, the Wildwood camouflage is less green and has more sand tones, making it more versatile. It looks similar to the photo.

Excellent softshell in the Anorak formula. Plenty of pockets, vents, high level of workmanship, and of course, the materials used are also top tier. I recommend it.
-
Flexible construction – great for hiking with a backpack, but for working by the campfire Woodsman or Pilgrim is better because of the materials used – but it dries quickly, is super comfortable, resistant to light rain and wind – very good product.

The jacket protects well against light and moderate wind. For the green version, with a thermal layer underneath at low temperatures, you don’t feel the cold. When you get hot, the underarm zippers ventilate excess heat well.

Softshell anorak for any condition, with a large pocket that, due to its size, can serve as a chest pack, and when carrying it in a backpack transport pocket, it works similarly to the Windrunner. The material effectively protects even against strong winds. Personally, I used it together with OTP pants as a set that combines protection against tough weather conditions with good breathability during long marches.

Wonderful product. It’s a pity I didn’t get the right size, but the fantastic store offers a good exchange option. Compared to a jacket with a zipper, an anorak may seem like a worse solution. At least until you test the advantages of the anorak.

Reliable Helikon Mistral Anorak Softshell jacket in black! Excellent material quality and great workmanship. Perfect protection against wind and rain! 👍👍👍👍👍

In my opinion, this is a very good jacket. The hood is functional. In light rain and temperatures from 0 to 10 degrees, I neither froze nor got soaked. In lower temperatures, I wore a thin longsleeve underneath; in warmer, rainy days, a heatgear-type t-shirt.

Very nice jacket. Lightweight, takes up little space when folded. Cool pockets with compartments. Perfectly protects against wind and light rain, I also like the zippered sleeves under the armpits. The only downside for me is the somewhat 'shapeless' hood, which doesn’t look so good.

Great material, great workmanship. I have been wearing and using it every day for several days. Great pockets on the sleeves for a phone or other small stuff like keys. The front pocket is very roomy, with practical compartments. I waterproofed it so it's also suitable for light rain. I recommend it. Very functional jacket.

Very well designed, sturdy and comfortable jacket. I recommend it!

Great windproof jacket, really light. I’ve only worn it once, but I already know it meets my expectations. I had doubts about the size, but XL turned out to be a good choice. Overall, highly recommended.

I bought it based on the size chart and even with some wiggle room, but the anorak turned out to be far too tight. Especially if I wanted to wear a flannel and/or fleece underneath. For a man who is 179cm/90 kg with a bit of a tactical belly and some chest, the ideal size is XXL in my opinion. Then it’s easy to put on and take off, and doesn’t restrict movement. Besides that, the kangaroo pocket is great. I recommend it.
