Setting aside the quality of materials, etc. (because it's Helikon), the functionality of the first aid kit is okay. You can fit the most important things, depending on what the user expects. A minor note about the place for attaching rescue scissors - longer scissors may be problematic when closing the red part (because the Velcro is about 2.5 cm when closed), and then if it's tightly packed and if the tip sticks out, there may be a problem with closing the zipper. As for the price, I think it's slightly overpriced, but considering that this is a very solid product, it's worth paying every extra penny. Because it is compatible, it fits well on the side of the Wisport Sparrow II 30l backpack. The space for the tourniquet is a bit tight and could be problematic in an emergency, but with a bit of training, everything is possible.

I bought this first aid kit with complete confidence and I must admit it exceeded my expectations – the Helikon Modular Individual Med Kit is truly a well-thought-out product. First of all, the construction is very solid – made of Cordura® 500D, which gives a sense of security in more challenging field or outdoor conditions. The pocket has ideal dimensions, allowing you to fit most basic first aid supplies, and the universal medical insert with Velcro panel and elastic straps makes it very easy to organize the contents, so everything is always at hand and I don't have to worry that something will move during transport. Additionally, the ability to mount the kit both vertically and horizontally on a belt, MOLLE/PALS platform or backpack straps is a huge advantage – it lets me adapt it to my own needs, whether I’m going hiking, to the shooting range, or just taking it on a long trip. To sum up, this is a first aid kit I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, solid, and well-designed solution for EDC, outdoor use, or emergencies – it’s definitely worth its price and deserves a spot in every kit.

Big disappointment. The build quality is very good, but the usability is very average. The outer case has such a capacity that the inner first aid kit has to be half empty in order to close it. The first aid kit itself is full of tiny pockets holding 4-5 plasters each. You can forget about placing an individual dressing or anything that is not flat. This is the first unsuccessful purchase from Helikon.

An interesting set of first aid kits from Helikon, I would say they are medium-sized. I am especially satisfied with the red one because the number of pockets and the way of organizing first aid supplies are very useful. The strong side handles are also a good idea. The red one is made of a different material than the olive one, but I carry it more inside the backpack, whereas the olive one can be carried more on the outside. I only replaced the plastic hook with a metal one. The pockets force you to organize reasonably what should go where.

Well made, as you would expect from Heliokon. Spacious with easy access to the contents and good organization of dressings. Plus for the ability to attach it to a belt, MOLLE/PALS platform or your own carrying strap.

High-quality workmanship. I needed something for my belt to carry a first aid kit/hit marker. Everything is fine, but the horizontal mounting is quite loose and doesn't hold securely on the belt. The kit is more suitable for vertical mounting on a vest. I had to find another solution.

Good quality first aid kit, as is basically everything from Helikon and Direct Action. I recommend it, I keep 2 dressings in it (one Olaes and something else), and a CAT tourniquet at the bottom.

I don't know where all these good reviews come from? The workmanship itself is, of course, flawless. The outer bag would be great if it could be torn away, and that would be enough. But the inner first aid kit has lots of unnecessary pockets and loops, where you can sort out a few plasters and bandages. There's so much material that it takes up half the space, instead of room for supplies. Packing it with a reasonable, basic set for the shooting range (even without a tourniquet) means it won’t fit in the outer bag.
