This is my second pair of trousers in this model. First mud brown, now crimson sky/black. OTP is one of Helikon’s two best field solutions (alongside Hybrid Tactical). The layout and number of pockets are perfect (this also works well in the UTP and shorts), the fabric is highly stretchy yet durable, and the cut is sensible. On top of that, the hook-and-loop fastener instead of a button at the waist does not press under a belt and can be adjusted well to your own measurements. I only have the impression that the red-and-black version has narrower legs than the mud brown one, but maybe the new trousers just have not had time to loosen up yet... These trousers are perfect for the transitional season, because on warmer days they are too warm. The only thing to improve: Hunting down Helikon trousers (any kind) in size S Short is like catching a mythical unicorn... The Helikon-Tex OTP VersaStretch trousers are very comfortable, and you can feel it from the very first time you put them on. The elastic material makes them comfortable for walking, sitting, bending, and spending long periods of time on the move. They do not pinch or restrict freedom of movement. The cut is well designed — they look neat and are neither too loose nor too tight. The pockets, as is often the case with Helikon-Tex products, are excellently thought out. You can easily arrange your phone, keys, documents, and other small items in them so that they do not get in the way while walking. The Shadow Grey colour is subdued and versatile, so it suits both urban use and trips into the field. After several uses, the trousers still keep their shape, the seams look solid, and the material does not bag at the knees. On very hot days they may turn out to be a little too thick, but for spring, autumn, and cooler days they are a very comfortable choice. I am satisfied with them because they work great for everyday use.

Very comfortable and functional trousers. The material is flexible, so they adapt excellently to movement and do not restrict you while walking, squatting, or working outdoors. A big plus for the well-placed and spacious pockets – everything needed during a trip can be kept close at hand. The hook-and-loop waist adjustment allows the trousers to be fitted very well to the body shape. The material is lightweight, durable, and performs well during trekking, walks in the forest, or everyday use. After several uses, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Helikon-Tex once again does not disappoint – I definitely recommend them.

I’m writing this review after testing the trousers in tougher conditions — a couple of times they got badly snagged on a protruding, sharp branch while crossing fallen trunks, and there’s not a trace of damage. Despite being lightweight, they’re truly durable. There’s no point repeating superlatives about their flexibility and the fact that they don’t restrict movement — simply outstanding. After the first trip on the trail, it’s hard to switch back to anything else. The pencott wildwood pattern is awesome...

These trousers fully meet my expectations. I plan to wear them during mountain walks on colder days. They are flexible and fit very well. I am 183 cm tall and of average build; I chose size M long. The material is high-quality, stretches in every direction, and also provides protection against wind and water. The hook-and-loop (Velcro) fastening is very practical, allowing precise adjustment of the trousers. The belt loops and mesh-lined pockets are also useful, helping with ventilation. There are no ventilation openings or adjustments at the bottom of the legs, but there are small holes to make such modifications, which I will probably do. The trousers are very well made, especially considering the price. I chose the red ones for visibility during hikes, although they will work well for various activities. I also work outdoors, and this model is suitable for work too. I'm considering buying a lighter version for warmer days. I definitely recommend them.

I bought these pants for trips to the forest as well as for everyday walks. Previously I had UTPs, in which I felt a bit like I was wearing work pants. OTPs are a completely different level of comfort; they do not restrict movement and are super flexible. The pockets are roomy and additionally provide ventilation. This may not be a downside, but it is worth knowing that since the pants are extremely flexible, despite fitting well they slide down off the backside, so a belt is necessary.

I'm bursting with pride that it's a Polish company...... these fit me just right, the previous ones were slightly too small, but they still work because there is a hook-and-loop strap option and you can easily make up those 5.7 cm....I recommend it because it's worth it.

These trousers are made of a very pleasant, flexible material. They fit the legs great, and thanks to the stretchy fabric they are exceptionally comfortable and nothing feels tight. An additional advantage is the ability to adjust the waist with Velcro. At a height of 189 cm and a weight of 90 kg, size L Long fits me perfectly.

These are very comfortable trousers for everyday wear, especially when you need to walk a lot or sit for a long time while traveling. The material is stretchy and pleasant, which provides freedom of movement and does not feel tight anywhere. Their appearance is calm and understated, without an overly tactical style, so they are suitable both for the city and for various trips. The pockets are practical and roomy — they easily fit a phone, keys, documents, and other small items. The black color makes them easy to match with most clothes. Only during very hot weather may they turn out to be a bit too thick, but for spring, autumn, and cooler days they work great.
