The fleece has been performing excellently for 1.5 years. It has a slimmer cut than its previous version, so it fits the body quite closely, but as a result it sits much better under a jacket. The additional pockets come in handy. The fleece is very warm and durable.

The fleece is very comfortable and well made. The material is soft, pleasant to the touch, and provides the right amount of warmth. I was looking for a solid, warm fleece for colder days, and the Helikon-Tex Patriot MK2 Hybrid Fleece in wz.93 Pantera camouflage has turned out to be simply brilliant. From the very first wear, you can feel the high quality of workmanship and the excellent fit to the body, which does not restrict movement during hiking or everyday tasks. The use of hybrid material perfectly balances thermal insulation with breathability, so I do not overheat during more intense activity, and the well-placed pockets easily hold all the most necessary small items. The Polish camouflage looks great and blends perfectly into a forest background, which is a huge plus for military enthusiasts. I am delighted with this purchase because in terms of comfort, durability, and protection from the cold, it is an absolute bullseye.

The fleece is double-layered and therefore very warm. Unfortunately, it is cut somewhat strangely and the sizing runs small. It is nicely extended at the back, too short at the front, and the sleeves are also quite short. There seems to be some extra fabric around the torso, yet it still feels as if it were too narrow; the sleeve width feels the same way. Apart from that, the fleece is very comfortable, has a deep hood, and many useful pockets, although they are quite shallow. The plastic ends of the hood drawstrings are unfortunately positioned and, when the collar is zipped up, they dig into the neck. Although according to the size chart the size was right, unfortunately the sweatshirt turned out to be too small. The return was processed successfully and very quickly, for which Militaria.pl deserves praise. It is best to try on the Patriot mk2 in a store, or possibly choose a larger size.

The fleece is completely different from the first version. There is no pocket on the forearm, which made no sense, but the one on the back, which was sometimes useful, is gone too; instead, there are two on the hips. When the pockets are unzipped, unfortunately you can feel the cold, because inside them there is only thin mesh, just like under the arms. The fleece is durable and has a great cut, but it is much thinner than the original. I recommend choosing one size larger.

The sweatshirt has a distinctly fitted cut — it fits the body well at the sides and under the arms. At the same time, it does not restrict movement at all; I really like the cut of the shoulders and sleeves, which Helikon often uses. Thanks to this, no excess material bunches up under my backpack straps or rolls up when I put it on. Freedom of movement remains complete even with a heavy backpack. I consider the workmanship to be solid. The material is warm and pleasant to the touch. I have not tested it yet during a longer hike, but I think that thanks to the ventilation openings it will perform well. Since I had a problem choosing the size myself, I will give my measurements: I am 174 cm tall, weigh 75 kg, and chose size EU-M. It fits me very well, and the sleeves are the right length with a small reserve. The only borderline element is the width at the bottom of the sweatshirt — I could use a few more centimeters of room there so that I could tighten it with the drawcords. In its current form it fits well, but when squatting the bottom has to stretch slightly. I consider this purchase successful. I have no comparison to the Mk1 version because I did not own it, but so far the Mk2 fully meets my expectations.

In my opinion, this is a very successful sweatshirt — both the fabric and the cut make a great impression, and it is also really comfortable to wear. It feels well made and durable, which is a big advantage at this price.

This is truly an excellent product! It works especially well during the transitional season and as a layer protecting against the cold under a hardshell, such as the Squall. The quality of workmanship is of a very high standard. It should be noted, however, that this jacket fits men with an athletic build better. At a height of 1.80 m and a weight of 95 kg, it turned out to be too tight. A great alternative is the PATRIOT Mk1, which thanks to its looser cut will also be suitable for people with a more solid build.

The fleece is very comfortable and warm, with a well-sewn hood. The numerous pockets make it easy to organize your gear, but the quality of the zippers is a downside. I hope this will be improved in the future, because if you were to wear it every day, it would become very annoying.
