Constructed with advanced StormFleece fabric, the model seamlessly merges the benefits of two distinct types of clothing into a single-layer design. As a result, the sweatshirt guarantees excellent protection from the cold as well as superior comfort during wear.

The outer layer utilizes a softshell-inspired material featuring a grid fleece structure. Thanks to its pronounced elasticity, unrestricted movement is assured throughout activities. The layer also boasts outstanding breathability, highly efficient moisture wicking, and increased wind resistance.

On the inner side, a soft fleece with extended fibers provides high-performance heat retention. The fabric is both quick-drying and soft to the touch. With an optimal grammage of 256 g/m2, the material maintains solid thermal insulation while ensuring the garment remains lightweight.

    Excellent and warm fleece. Size M fits perfectly for 180cm height and 75kg, it is neither too tight nor too loose. The hood covers the whole head like a cap. The zipper works properly, nothing gets stuck. I recommend it.

    The Polar is excellently made and very comfortable, and the hood with a visor fits perfectly—almost like a cap. It's incredibly warm, but that comes at a price: during any exertion, you sweat quite a bit in it. I feel like the breathability is limited given the thickness of the material. I have a size L and it's fitted, which is comfortable but may also reduce the airflow inside. Great for static activities or very cold days, but too hot for intense hiking.

    I decided to return the fleece. Everything is fine, but the manufacturer skimped on the zippers—they work very badly, they are difficult to zip and unzip, and they function unevenly. The Velcro on the shoulders is also a bit much. Soon they’ll start sewing Velcro onto boxers and socks too.

    I usually wear size L, but the M size sweatshirt is even a bit too big. Overall, I rate it very well. You feel warmth as soon as you put it on. Truly a revolutionary fleece, light and very warm. It has one flaw: the fastening at the neck is terribly irritating... maybe I'll get used to it...

    I bought the fleece for myself as a Christmas present. I wear it as the main 'sweatshirt' under my jacket. So? It's not great. The insulation is mediocre, airflow is fine, but after three months, it starts to pill in spots where there’s slight friction. The big plus is the hood. For this price, Helikon, you didn’t do your best.

    After 2 months of use in subzero city temperatures, the fleece fulfills its tasks—light and warm at the same time. Under the fleece, a T-shirt and sweatshirt are enough, and at temperatures down to -10°C, it works, provided you’re moving and there’s no wind. When you put the hood on, it feels like you’re isolated from the world :), nice and warm, and the hood turns with your head. Highly recommended.

    The fleece is very well made. However, in my opinion, the old version is more functional. First of all, there are no pockets on the arms, no underarm vents, and the bottom elastic is too tight; a better solution would be an adjustable cord. It's something between the alpha tactical and a softshell, but in my opinion, it's not really suitable to wear under a jacket.
