The compass is worth its price. It is quite heavy, but that's due to the materials used. Durable and accurate. As previous reviewers mentioned, it takes a moment to catch north. Definitely slower than, for example, Silva compasses. But this is a bit of a different piece of equipment. It's worth having it regardless of a map-specific compass.

Well made, the compass quickly aligns itself in the proper orientation. Bought for learning orientation in the field and working with a map. The housing seems solid, I hope it will last a long time.

A solidly made compass, equipped with the functions necessary for navigating in the field. Good price for equipment of this quality. My only remark concerns the lack of a case included in the set. I recommend it.

A very desirable compass. Solid and well made. The phosphorescent indications are a great solution, as they work well after dark. For me, a big plus is the excellently made instruction manual on how to use such a compass, as I learned terrain orientation from it. I definitely recommend it.

The compass hasn't been tested in the field yet, but according to comments it won't get you lost. Fantastic workmanship, solid aluminum case, when you hold it you just know it will survive more than one trip with you. The markings are very clear and it’s easy to read the values from the dial.
-
The magnetic needle works significantly slower than in Silva. The instruments for precise azimuth determination are very well visible, I checked the accuracy of its operation against specialist equipment and this compass performs quite well.
-
The compass worked very well in the mountains. For me, the only drawback is that sometimes it takes a long time to point in the right direction. But for such a low price, I still recommend it.

Everything from Helikon is good and reliable, just like this compass. I ordered with my eyes closed and I knew it would be good, and it is—I highly recommend it. It's worth having in your gear.
-
Good compass. It has many advantages, the aluminum housing guarantees resistance to accidental damage. The phosphorescent elements are clearly visible after being lit. The only drawback is the slow synchronization of the needle. In my tests it took 3–5 seconds. Test – locking the dial by placing it vertically and rotating the compass, so the north needle shows south. Measuring the stabilization time for the north needle :-). The included manual is in English and explains how to use the compass. However, it's worth watching a detailed video on YouTube, as you can do much more with this compass.

A very solid compass. The metal housing seems very durable. The previously illuminated fluorescent markings glow very nicely in the dark.
