Great jacket from Helikon-Tex. The duracanvas fabric looks solid and durable. The hood fastens high, providing very good protection, and the multitude of pockets increases the jacket's practicality.
Helikon-Tex SAS Smock Duracanvas Jacket - Coyote
A smock-style jacket in Coyote color, crafted from Duracanvas material. Designed to be waxed for increased water resistance, the fabric provides enhanced protection against rain, moisture, and abrasions. Drawing inspiration from jackets worn by SAS units within the British Army, the design features a loose fit to accommodate multiple clothing layers.
8 spacious pockets
Outfitted with 8 large pockets, the smock features 2 angled cargo pockets on the chest secured with Canadian buttons, as well as 2 hip pockets lined with durable nylon mesh. Special loops in each chest pocket enable the attachment of smaller items, ensuring they remain secure during movement. Additional paracord loops are positioned at the edge of the jacket on both sides.
two-way zipper and adjustable hood
A two-way zipper secures the jacket, while the lightweight hood can be adjusted in 2 directions, ensuring an optimal fit to the head in relation to weather conditions or any headgear worn.
elastic drawstrings and vents
Dual drawstrings located at the waist and lower hem of the jacket enable adjustment of fit and reinforce protection from the wind. Underarm vents ensure optimal airflow.

The jacket is made of solid materials, has a loose fit and high durability, as well as spacious pockets and carefully crafted seams and details. The price is very attractive and the shipping is fast. I definitely recommend this product and the seller.

Simple, comfortable jacket. A significant advantage is the two-way zipper and ventilation under the arms. On the downside: definitely an inflated price for such a simple jacket – it's only worth it if you find a promotion. Besides that, I don't know what is meant by "The material is suitable for waxing impregnation" – the composition of the material is like most Helikon products, which means it’s mostly polyester (cheaper than, for example, nylon). By that logic, most Helikon clothes could be waxed – in my opinion, this is just creating a “legend” (in this case, a British one) for the product.

The jacket is comfortable and works well for everyday use in spring, although the hood could be bigger – still, it serves its purpose. The material breathes well, but does not protect against rain. It will only work in light rainfall.

The jacket is outstanding, the cut is suitable both for everyday city use and outdoor activities. The material is resistant to campfire sparks, wind, and light rain is nothing to worry about in this jacket. Plus for the adjustable hood (drawstring) at the back. The Napoleon pockets are very spacious, perfect for spring or autumn. When it's below 10 degrees, you should wear something underneath, like a fleece, then you can go out in even lower temperatures. Huge plus for the two-way zipper, you can open the bottom when getting into a car or use it for ventilation, though there is also a zippered ventilation system under the arm. Size L fits perfectly, but with a fleece it gets a bit tight, so I suggest choosing a size up (180/90).

My first impressions are good. I think it looks better than the M65 model. The jacket is comfortable and versatile, although it is not the lightest. It handles light rain well. For spring, it is a great choice. The quality is rather average, but the price is also adequate. However, I miss having inner pockets.

Great jacket for outdoor wear. It has a comfortable fit, plenty of pockets, and is made from solid, durable material. I'm 183 cm tall and slim, and size M fits me perfectly. The jacket is not insulated, but on colder days I wear a fleece or sweater underneath. It's ideal for walks in the countryside or on the beach with my dog. As always, the order was processed quickly and professionally, and the shipment reached me in the UK just three days after purchase. I recommend this jacket and wholeheartedly recommend this company. Thank you.

Great jacket when paired with a thin fleece. On warmer days, the jacket alone is enough. It handles light rain well (water beads up). For me, it's a comfortable and durable choice.

I am 179 cm tall, weigh 85 kg, have a chest circumference of 109 cm, and a waist of 88 cm. I ordered sizes M and L to compare them – ultimately I chose L. The jacket in this size fits very well: it isn’t baggy, yet it doesn’t restrict movement. The material is of very high quality and the workmanship is perfect. The YKK zippers work extremely smoothly and easily. A big plus is the ability to tighten the jacket at the waist, which allows for a better fit to your body shape. The jacket can be worn year-round – it all depends on the layers of clothing underneath. Also worth praising are: underarm ventilation, spacious and well-organized pockets, and convenient hood adjustment. I chose the black color – it goes great with all earth tones, and the cargo pockets in this version are less noticeable. This makes the whole thing look more subtle, yet technical and sleek. I definitely recommend this jacket.
-
The jacket is solid, has many useful pockets, and despite the strong material, it is comfortable to wear. The workmanship inspires confidence, and the style is well-suited for outdoor activities. For me, it is a comfortable and durable choice. My only reservation is about the fit – it could be more tailored at the waist.
-
The jacket is made of thin fabric, without insulation, just right as an outer layer. After spraying with a water repellent, it works well in light rain. It's comfortable for walking and longer hikes. Perfect for layering.
-
Durable, waterproof, and perfectly fitted... Provides excellent insulation against the cold, equipped with many pockets and extremely practical. In summary... this is another great product at a favorable price from Helikon TEX, congratulations.

A solid jacket that offers great quality for the price. If you're looking for practical aspects, I recommend checking other reviews. It's worth noting, however, that the Duracanvas material is quite thin, so the jacket is suitable without an extra layer only on warmer days. During colder seasons, additional insulation will be necessary. After waxing, the material becomes water-resistant, but it is not completely waterproof. Overall, it's a good purchase and I would definitely consider buying it again.

This is already my second jacket. I've been using the first one for a year. Therefore, with a clear conscience and after a long period of use, I am sharing my opinion. When the temperature drops below 0, it’s worth having something thicker under the jacket. It protects very well from wind and rain. The jacket has a high collar and a well-cut hood. Another advantage are the underarm zippers. The material is of good quality and durable.

Great jacket but hard to choose the right size. 190cm/100kg and L is perfect. You can go both to the forest and the city, it looks really nice.
