Helikon-Tex – the brand itself is a sign of the product's high quality. This is already my third tarp from this company. I already have two models with dimensions of 3 by 3 meters, so this time I chose a smaller one. The price in relation to the quality is fantastic – if you don’t plan to spend around 200 euros on a tarp, this super tarp model is ideal. It fully serves its purpose and offers great quality. I definitely recommend this purchase.
Helikon-Tex Supertarp Small Field IRR Basha - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Camping tarp designed to create shelter in the field. The 200 x 250 cm dimensions provide enough space to protect one person together with equipment or to prepare a canopy for several people.
The model works well when used as a shelter over a hammock, a cover for a workstation, or an improvised emergency shelter. It features NIR/IRR properties that reduce contrast against the surroundings in the near infrared range.
Protection from rain and sun
The tarp is made of lightweight, coated polyester with a grammage of 78 g/m2, which creates a barrier against rain. Pitched over a resting place or workstation, it protects the user and equipment from precipitation. On sunny days, it provides a shaded space and reduces heat build-up under the cover, increasing comfort in open terrain.
irr/nir properties
The materials used in the tarp, including visible fabrics and components, were selected to reduce the contrast in devices operating in the near infrared range. Their properties affect the way the tarp absorbs, reflects, and transmits radiation, which helps achieve an image better matched to the characteristics of the natural surroundings.
durable attachment points
The tarp is equipped with 19 reinforced attachment points, which allow it to be pitched in various configurations. The shape and tension of the cover can be adjusted to the available anchor points, terrain, and weather conditions. The numerous attachment points also make it easier to change the tarp setup when greater protection from rain or sun is needed.
easy transport
Supertarp Small can be folded into a compact size and packed into the included carry bag. The low weight of 500 g makes it easier to carry the tarp in a backpack, and the bag helps keep it in one place during transport.

camouflage wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Polish Armed Forces - the first camouflage designed and introduced into widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of different sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown, and black was adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in domestic terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also standard equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.
Militaria.pl is the official distributor of Helikon-Tex.

Very good tarp. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to pack. Well made. Its size is completely sufficient for a one-day stay outdoors or for sleeping under it. For this price, about €50, it's a great choice!

I own the Aqua Quest 4x3 tarp, which is excellent but quite heavy, so I was looking for a lighter option and this tarp perfectly meets those expectations. It can be folded to a compact size and is practically weightless. The workmanship is of a very high standard, and the range of available colors suits me very well – I particularly like the wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland variant.

In my opinion, the Helikon Supertarp Small (wz.93 Pantera) is a very functional piece of equipment: it is lightweight, easy and quick to set up, and performs excellently in the rain. An excellent choice for solo trips. The camouflage matches well with Central European conditions.

This is my third tarp and as it turns out, it is my favorite. I regret not getting it in camouflage, because it would be even more useful in the forest. The weakest point are the attachment loops, as they are not super convenient to use, but you can always add extra ones made from paracord and that solves the problem. Apart from that, the unfolded size, the packed size, the quality... everything is perfect, it even fits in a larger waist bag. I recommend it!

A solid item as expected from Helikon. The tarp is large enough, lightweight, well-made with many attachment points, and in a great color. I recommend it. Buy Helikon stakes and Atwood Rope cords to have an excellent set.
-
The tarp makes a great impression. When packed, it's smaller than a US-style poncho, and once unfolded, it gives a larger 'roof' area compared to the mentioned poncho. Most of the seams are taped. I recommend it.
-
Tarp bought mainly for its smaller size, because of the brand, and also due to a promotion. Helikon rarely disappoints. If you are looking for a tarp that gives you a bit more space, this will be the best choice. So far, the material and workmanship are a plus.
-
Spacious and easy to attach, stretches well and effectively protects against sun or light rain. Large choice of colors, I recommend it for any forest trip.
-
Very fast order processing time. Excellent value for money. Worth buying, it might even come in handy on the beach. A very practical item with multiple uses.
-
A nice alternative to a big supertarp – in terms of weight and size, it fits comfortably in a small backpack and is just right for a small stay during a walk to keep your back from the wind. The build quality is very good – I recommend it.
-
Small tarp, but because of that also small in volume when folded, so it doesn't take up much space. Thanks to the numerous loops, it can be attached in various ways. I have not tested its tear resistance.
-
When choosing a tarp, I primarily wanted quality and relatively low weight. That's why I chose Helikon. Indeed, the seams are tight, the material is waterproof, and it is also very well made. I chose the smaller version specifically because of the weight. And why black? I just like this color. I recommend it.
-
Very good quality. The colors do not fade. However, the set includes only the tarp, without cord or pegs.

The dimensions of the tarp allow one person with equipment to fit under it comfortably. Many mounting points make it possible to set up the tarp in many configurations.
