This is my first poncho and I am positively surprised by its quality, appearance, and practicality. As soon as you put it on, you feel immediately warmer. I think that sleeping at 0°C might be a bit uncomfortable, but during warmer days it's the perfect solution.

Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll Climashield Apex is a high-quality product that provides effective protection against the cold and stands out for its versatility – it works great both as a blanket and as a poncho. A very well-designed poncho/sleeping bag. The Climashield fiber filling provides warmth, although on colder days (below 10°C) it is too thin and will not provide thermal comfort on its own without support from another layer. It's lightweight, so it's ideal as an emergency or supplementary option. As for maintaining insulation after getting wet, I haven't checked, but it's probably worth having an additional waterproof poncho as an outer layer. At a price of about 400 PLN, it's definitely worth it.

Great product from Helikon company. Used as a sleeping bag and poncho, it has saved the situation many times. It also worked very well as extra insulation during colder days on long walks in the forest with my dog. I recommend it!

If it weren't for the exceptionally good prices at Military EU, I would be dissatisfied with the purchase. While cooking, some fat splashed onto the jacket, so I wiped it off by hand and unfortunately, I rubbed off the DWR coating, which means even light rain soaks it immediately. The Helikon product did not meet my expectations, so I chose a Pentagon jacket instead of another Helikon Yukon. Fortunately, I also bought a poncho in the American camo pattern to serve as an outer layer, but still, for a product that regularly costs over 130 pounds, this is quite a disappointment. Service at Military EU, however, is outstanding — thank you!

I chose the Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll (Climashield Apex) poncho/cover in the PenCott WildWood pattern and I definitely think it was a great purchase. What I especially appreciate: Versatility – it can be used as either a lightweight sleeping bag or an insulating jacket, as well as a poncho for rain protection. The nylon fabric and Climashield Apex insulation provide excellent heat retention even in wet weather. Packed down, it takes up very little space (29 × 19 cm) and weighs only about 762 g, so it’s easy to take with you on a trip. The design is well thought out – the front zipper, pocket, and DWR (water-resistant) coating greatly enhance outdoor comfort. The PenCott WildWood camouflage not only serves its function but also looks good if you care about outdoor aesthetics.

Nice color. Easy to put on and to roll up and store in the cover. The material is not too thick, rather for moderate cold; I wouldn't rely on this sleeping bag alone, it's more of an extra layer for a sleeping bag than a standalone piece. Nice pocket. And finally, the price is reasonably adequate to the quality and nature of the product; previously, in my opinion, it was definitely too expensive.

Multi-purpose product. Well made. Tested as insulation at camps and as a sleeping bag during warm nights. I recommend it as an addition, but not as the only sleeping bag for everything. If you're not in a hurry, it's worth waiting for a promotion.

A really warm poncho from Helikon in tiger stripe was one of my best purchases this year. Its versatility for the price is outstanding. As an insert for a hammock, it’s perfect. I often use it as a blanket on cooler evenings. A product worth recommending.
