Technically, the compass performs very well and definitely does not feel like a toy. Unfortunately, I have to note that for my average wrist it is almost too small, because the strap turns out to be too short. Apart from that, it is solidly made and very functional, because it remains “always” within sight.

I bought the compass with the idea of using it to maintain a course in a more or less specific direction, mainly when mushroom picking. For that, it is perfect. The needle settles quickly, and you can get your bearings in a few seconds. The strap, as other reviewers mentioned, is so-so. It fulfills its function, but it is uncomfortable to wear. I do not recommend placing the compass near a watch, or especially on the same strap. It will distort the direction. Overall, it is a nice and useful gadget at an affordable price.

I have appreciated the Polish brand Helikon Tex for years, so I decided to buy their compass as well, even though I already have several others. It is truly a very successful product — the needle works with remarkable precision and does not stick even when the housing is tilted quite a lot. The strap can admittedly be replaced with a stronger one, but the current one also does its job. It also pairs very well with a watch in a black plastic case. I definitely recommend it.

Good material for a backup compass or for occasional use or an emergency kit. I haven't used the watch itself as a compass so far, but during mountain trips it was nice to glance at it and mentally confirm the direction. If your mind is calm, your walk is more pleasant. Hello, a nice, handy compass with a rotating dial that allows you to determine the general direction you want to go. It will definitely be useful for people walking in the forest.

The compass is probably not suitable for fast marches where you want to quickly check the direction, as it always needs a bit of time to find north. If you don't care about speed, it will be great.
